We've all heard of the Goodwill store, where you donate old clothes and stuff you don't want anymore and they sell it to people for dirt-cheap. Well, this is the Goodwill store for Gaia! If you're feeling generous, you can donate any items you are willing to part with, and we will give them so someone in need of that item. Only here, it's completely free for the receiver!
On the second post, there will be a list of all the items available. For inexpensive store items (3.5k and under), if you see something you want, just post on the thread that you want it. If no one else wants it within 24 hours, its automatically yours. Otherwise, the item's new owner will be chosen with Randomizer.org.
For expensive store items (over 3.5k), uncommons, rares, event items, and donation items, the items will be raffled off. The raffle is free, and in order to enter, all you have to do is post in the thread that you would like a spot in a specific raffle (there may be multiple raffles going on at once). There will be a pre-determined number of spots in the raffle, which will be directly related to the item's value (ex: Dried Grass Skirt raffle may have 5 spots, where as a Nitemare Scarf raffle may have 300 or something), and each person will be allowed a maximum of 1 spot. After all slots have been filled, a winner will be chosen with Randomizer.org. Just be sure to read and follow the rules.
The Rules:
1. Please to not ask to be given, or to be entered in a raffle for an item that you already have.
2. All requests must be posted in this thread. Please don't PM me, or any of the crew with requests. I don't want my inbox flooded. I read all posts in this thread. If you post a request, I will see it.
3. Don't be rude to others in this thread.
4. Don't ask for something more than once. I read all posts in this thread, so if you ask for something, I will see it.
5. Please don't ask to be given, or to be entered in a raffle for an item that cannot be worn by you character. (Ex: Don't ask for a Goth Skirt if your avatar is male.)
6. If you are sent an item, please confirm the trade within 15 days after it is sent. If you don't, the trade will be cancelled, and the item will be up for grabs again. Or, in the case of a raffle item, another winner will be chosen from the list.
7. You may enter as many raffles as you want, but you may only have one slot in each one. ^_^
8. Keep in mind that this is primarily a Raffle Charity. You may advertise your quests and whatnot in the thread if you want, but this charity doesn't donate to quests. All the gold donated to the charity goes to buy items for the charity.
If you want to donate items or gold, send a trade to the mascot, G.G.W. with "Goodwill Donation" in the subject title. All gold will go to purchase items for this charity. I make no profit from this what-so-ever.
If you want to help out in some other way, or offer a suggestion, just send me a pm. Feel free to advertise this charity! You're welcome to use the crappy banner at the top of this post. And, of course, bumps are ALWAYS loved! 3nodding
