The limp body of yet another teenager lay in the hands of the vampire, his soft hands caressing up and down the slender figure of a young beautiful blonde. The sort of athletic build of a cheerleader, bangs of long golden hair flowing over his arm and wavering with the last breaths of life. Vladimir sat quite calmly, with little movement, like a statue stooped over what could’ve been thought as a sleeping blonde. His lips pressed delicately upon her arched neck, tasting her flesh as long elegant pearly white elongated canines; that that could have been possessed by an animal; slowly dug into it. Penetrating her flesh Vlad slowly stroked his hand up across her face to hush her lips as a small moan was emitted, a slight smile playing on his lips before the inevitable. The warm flow, the salty liquid bursting in an explosion of desire into his mouth, his own moan emitted at the pleasure that the sensation caused despite the years of doing it daily. Her blood was smooth and soft, a warm red hand caressing his mouth and throat as it moved in a strong flow. He could feel her heart beat, strong and resilient, refusing to give up without a struggle. His own heart pounding angrily along with it, synchronising almost as he felt the hunger fade, but still the desire to drink continued, untamed, wild and rapid.
Finally her beat began subsided, drawing himself away from her he carefully licked the last of the fluid around her neck before she passed, replacing the long blonde locks that glistened the girl’s innocence as it fell. He could taste her virginity, it was a delight to feel upon his tongue, not moving the muscle in case the taste moved onwards he picked her up in his arms. Placing her limp body upon a blanket and beginning to wrap her up, as though she had taken to sleep on the streets and had passed due to the cold. Such an integral plan to avoid the blame that had been travelling through out their existence, such were the times when a vampire could leave the body bare and uncared for. Now inquisitions and police work flooded the streets each night another body appeared.
Standing back to his teenaged height the brunette brushed off his faded jeans and straightened out his dark black T-shirt – with bright white long sleeves appearing underneath. His fashion sense of a teenager still attempting to keep up with the modern trends, which had become easier, his thanks thrown towards the MTV nation. Scooping up a rather immaculate leather jacket that he had left on a crate whilst enticing the young blonde into the idea that he had a sense of affection towards her, he placed it over his shoulders with the usual clatter of chains.
Emerging to the main street he saw the usual slender figure of his brother, taller, slimmer and paler. His head masked by a long black hooded-top that he’d obviously worn to school today; the vampire smiled and sighed; his brother despite age still wanted to be a teenage, mingle with children of the age had was frozen in time as. Vladimir had lost his desire to do such things long a go, humanity was nothing but a pawn to him. In truth Vlad only went to school to woo teens into his trap and play his own sordid little games.
Dominick on the other hand wished to socialise with others, grow himself friendships and feel that wanting once more. His skin beneath the hooded shirt glistening like a china doll, a symbol that he had not yet drank but would soon need too. The two creatures of the dark met under street lamps, Vladimir smiling and brushing back his brown hair to look at the vampire of almost identical appearance,
“Why do you suffocate yourself with the delusions of friendships amongst the human race, brother?” a sharp snarl present in his tone, disgust for his brother’s actions mingled with the desire to turn the taller twin into his own kind more than his play thing and puppy dog. To turn him into his companion, to hunt as a pair, instead of watch as his brother took those who wished to pass or drank just enough to survive.
“They want little to do with you…” The lack of reaction form Dominick was not uncommon, his brother’s constant questioning and insults seemed to deflect off him as though his soft ageless skin was a glass shield,
“You don’t see the world through my eyes Vladimir.” his voice translucent and almost consumed in the night, the kind of tone of a saddened being that often occupied his vocal chords.
The pair turned the corner to see that one lily, making their way around the back Vladimir as usual took the lead. His black coat fluttering slightly like a cape as they approached, pushing open the back door with the lack of caution he always possessed around other vampires. His face now filled with the colour of the living due to the gift from the blonde. Hazel eyes looked towards the shop owner, almost envious of his appearance age, his knowledge and the respect that he seemed to gain from every vampire around him,
“Beautiful Evening, Lucas.” a cordial greeting that seemed to occur often upon his lips, a simple statement that had become his version of ‘good morning’ almost. Walking further into the room he heard the footsteps of his brother behind him, like a ghost in comparison in entrance Dominick looked over to the taller vampire and gave a small smile before pulling the hood down to reveal his face.
“You haven’t had the time to appreciate the evening Vladimir.” his tone taking more vindication than it had before, but still laced in translucence,
“You haven’t had the time to appreciate much but that of your own desires…”
With that Dominick removed his hoody all together and closed the door, placing the garment; neatly folded; upon the nearest flat surface.
