PURCHASING RULES
{one].in the event of a flatsale, first come, first serve.
{two}.you must have the gold/items on you at the time of the flatsale to get one.
{three}.shop items/pets may be purchased with either pure gold, the newest donation letter, or any item on my wishlist. mixtures of these are welcome.
{four}.you may buy raffle tickets for yourself and your friends.
{five}.items, familiars, customs and such are sometimes not available. you can tell by looking at the top of the corresponding post whether that section is open or closed.
{six}.autobuying any auction gets you one free familiar. it is not custom, however. if the auction was for a familiar, then autobuying gets you another one. this is the only way to get more than one familiar.
{seven}.when considering buying a cosplay, please ask first before making that decision or saving up gold for it. that way I can reserve it and I don't accidentally raffle off the cosplay of your dreams.

I try to grow two or three HOOTERS at least a week, and the order they are in my photobucket is the order I grow them in (i.e. the one who's been in there the longest will be the next to grow). If you're wondering when to expect a growth, please ask nicely how far down the list you are. If you want your HOOTER to grow right away, buy a growth potion smile

The stages

The first question you are probably asking yourself is, what IS a HOOTER? The second question you are asking yourself is, why would I want a HOOTER? The third question you are asking yourself is, what is the formule for titanium dioxide?
Well, I'm here to answer all those questions, and more. But first, allow me to introduce myself. My name is sp1ffy, but you can call me Spiffer Hoony McDumdums for short. Or you can just stick with sp1ffy.
Anyhoo, back to the questions at hand. I think I'll answer then in order.

{one}.what IS a HOOTER? Well, a HOOTER is a type of bird. It's kinda like an owl, on fatter, with small feet, and a very very round body. Plus they can't do that whole neck move-y thingy like regular owls do.

{two}.why would I want a HOOTER? Because they're cute, cheap pets, and don't mess on the carpet like most cats, dogs, and foxes do. And because I'm brainwashing you -RIGHT- -NOW-.

{three}.what is the formula for titanium dioxide? Why that, my dear, is TiO2 . Glad you asked. ^>^

Well, I hope this helps. Now, on to the stages of HOOTERs.

{.the egg stage.} At this stage, your HOOTER has not yet been born, so not much happens. However, every once in a while the egg will twitch, like something's trying to get out.
{.the chick stage.} Chicks are probably the cutest stage of HOOTERs. Soft, fluffy, and with the ability to make small cooing noises, I guarantee any HOOTER chick will win your heart. Be careful with them though, because not only do they have no wings but their bones are very brittle, too.
{.the adult stage.}Now your HOOTER is waddling and fluttering free as a very fat, short bird. They cannot speak to humans, but love to chirp amongst themselves.

{one}.flatsales. Flatsales usually happen aboout once a month, with anywhere between two and six eggs up for grabs, depending on how bored I was lately. ^>^ 'Normal' flatsale eggs cost 2k; demonic cost 5k, and cosplays (though very rare) cost 7k. First come, first serve, send the trade right after you post your claim. One HOOTER per person per flatsale. You may buy for others though.

{three}.auctions. Auctions are also a fairly regular event. Normally there will be one egg up for auction (although there are very rare cases of double certs), and the starting bid will be 2k. Minimum increase is 100g, and each auction lasts between a week and two weeks. 'Normals' can be autobought at 50k, demonic and angelic can be autobought at 75k, and cosplays at 100k. Note: autobuys change depending on my mood and what I'm questing for at the moment.

{four}.raffles. Raffles are held frequently here. Tickets cost 50g no matter what kind of egg is in the raffle. Sometimes raffles will have runner-up prizes, too. They usually last one week.

{five}.pet/art trades. Own a pet shop you think I might like? Offer me a trade and I'll consider. I'm willing to give out any number of HOOTERs equal to the cost of one of your pets, if I like you. (i.e. your pets usually cost 5k, so I'll give you enough HOOTERs to equal that.) Also, sometimes I'll do art trades. If you're a really good artist and you want to do some art of my avi or IoDM character in exchange for a HOOTER, PM me and we'll talk.

Buying HOOTERS!
Tired of waiting for an event? Got a specific HOOTER in mind? Then keep reading!

Random
orders: open
Random HOOTERS are the cheapest kind. Basically, you send a trade for the gold and post in the thread a name and gender. I decide all the patterns colors and such. Random HOOTERS do not usually come with lineart edits, but if I'm uber bored I might add some.
Prices: 500 for one-stage (you choose the stage), 1000 for growing ((demonics and angelics not available!))

Do-It-Yourself
orders: closed
Do-it-yourself slots don't open as much, but they're fun. What you do is send me the trade and specify if you want male or female. Then, I send you the lineart and you color it. No edits and no shading. Send it back and I finish up and cert them for you. ^>^
Prices: 1k for one-stage, 3k for growing, 3k for one-stage demonic/angelic, 6kk for growing demonic/angelic.

Semi-Custom
orders: open
Semi-customs allows you to control everything about your HOOTER without lineart edits. Just send the trade and post a name and gender in the thread. Then PM me all the details for each stage and wait for your new HOOTER to be posted!
Prices: 2k for one-stage, 5k for growing, 5k for one-stage demonic/angelic, 10k for growing demonic/angelic.

Customs
orders: open
These are just like the ones above, only you get some lineart edits (i.e. different wings, eyes, added spikes/hair, etc.)
Prices: 5-8k for one-stage, 7-10k for growing, 5-8k for one-stage demonic/angelic, 9-12k for growing demonic/angelic. ((NOTE: Prices range depending on complexity of lineart edits. smile ))

Cosplays

Ah, the section that everyone loves. So, you want a HOOTER dressed up as your favorite game/anime/manga character, eh? Well, it's going to cost you. But trust me, it's worth the gold! Just send the trade and post name, gender, character descriptions and GOOD reference pics in the thread. According tothe character, angelic or demonic lineart may be used. 3nodding ((the more elaborate your character's outfit/hairstyle/weapons are, the easier it is for me to do a good cosplay of it smile ))
Prices: 10k for non-growing, 20k for growing. ((again, prices change depending on complexity))


Now I know what you're thinking: HOMG sp1ffy why'd you raise the prices so much!! gonk Waaaah! But there is still hope! Every week or so, I will be doing what I call a Quick Quest Raffle. I'll sell fifteen (15) tickets for 50g each, and one person is only allowed four tickets each. When you buy a ticket, you MUST say what you are hoping to win (like a semi-custom, or cosplay, or custom demonic). You can buy seperate tickets for different things, if you like. When all slots are filled, I'll draw a number, and the person who wins gets a 50% off coupon for whatever they bought the ticket for! These do not expire, and you can keep trying for one if you don't win! Here's an example ticket if you guys are confused...

BREEDING

Hooray! Now that there are adults in the shop, we can talk behbehs biggrin
It is a special thing when a HOOTER gives birth. The mother HOOTER (who can be a girl or boy, they all pretty much have the same 'parts' xP) is impregnated by the father, then, after anywhere between 2 days and a week, a small clutch of eggs is born. Usually, there are three eggs, although sometimes there are two or four. The babies, of course, closely resemble their parents, however, if one of the parents has a rare trait (like demonic or cosplay) then those traits have a 50% chance of passing onto each chick (but clutches born from the breeding of a normal and something else will be about 2/3 normal). The owners of the parents each get to choose one of their eggs, then they may decide the fate of the remaining egg from these options:
{one} Give the egg to someone who does not yet own a HOOTER
((If I find anyone using mules for this, all their HOOTERS will be taken away and they will be banned from the shop!))
{two} Auction the egg {if this option is chosen, the parent's owners will get 25% of the profits each}
{three} Do a free raffle for the egg (in which case nobody gets any profits but a warm fuzzy feeling <3)

Now, to discuss the breeding slots themselves. Slots have different prices, depending on what kind of HOOTER you have. They're 2k for a normal HOOTER, 3k for a demonic or angelic, and 4k for a cosplay. Expensive, yes, but isn't seeing the little babies worth it? 4laugh After breeding, it takes the parents three weeks to recover, and then they can breed again. Oh yes, and a couple doesn't have to be boy/girl to mate. girl/girl and boy/boy couples can breed too.

Breeding slots usually open up about once a month, although they may open more if there is a great demand for them. Here are the slots currently:

NEW! Not enough gold for a breeding slot, but really want to breed? Claim the special discount slot-just 100g for each HOOTER! This includes normals, cosplays and special breeds. The only catch is, all extra eggs will be given away for FREE, no profit to the owners. This is a great opportunity for the poorer gaians.

Whenever slots open, there will be a post in the thread. When claiming a breeding slot, you must first post in the thread who will be breeding, and who their owners are. Then, have one of the owners send the trade. If I confirm your trade, it means you have gotten the slot.
