Sub Charity of The Giveaway Charity

Yes, this is LoveDoc or Seronya. This thread was inspired by pexi_lexi's 100 kiki bonanza and this is THE ORIGINAL COCO CHARITY and it has started since the release of the Cocos! whee . Since the Coco's would eventually be hard to get, I thought why not give out 50 to hard questers and hard workers:: I am here to help the deserving and to make friends, I would LOVE it if you could donate to this charity. LoveDoc's 6 Tidbits On Becoming a Better Gaian:

* Every month donate atleast 10% or more of your profits on Gaia to a dedicated quest or charity. Exchange Whores this is implied towards you. wink
* If you happen to have everything you ever wanted on Gaia, then start a charity. You do not have to start a complicated one. Just have the basic application, donators, and donatees list. Starting a unique charity is definitly a commitment.
* If you are questing, and would like to start a Charity/Quest in one, then make half of your donations go to your charity and half to quest. Itll feel like you are helping and receiving at the same time.
* Dont feel like starting a charity? Then Look up a Charity on The List of Charities. Make sure its open and look for Staff Openings. The smallest things like collecting applications can be helpful to a charity owner.
* As many of you questers know, you guys need a lot of bumping in your quest thread. Donate atleast a specific amount of your spare time to bumping a dedicated quest thread. These bumps can be personalized with Blinkies, Bump art, or cute animated bumps.
* Lastly, whatever you do, make sure you follow all ToS guidelines and thread rules. <33

1. You must not fill in an application till I give out the application dates which will be when I get all 50 Coco Kitties: 1st *Date for the first 10 cocos will be Sunday May 14th 12 AM PST- Friday May 21st 6 PM PST DONE
*Dates for the next 10 cocos will be June 11th to June 15th. You may re-post your application if you didnt get a coco last time.
*Next Dates are Oct 7th to Oct 14th... 2006..
* December 2nd is the next app date.

2. You can own a coco, and get another coco.. exclaim New Rule

LoveDoc, I have to say I'm in awe of how generous you are. I have been a happy recipiant of help from your Giveaway Charity, so I already knew that you were a very giving person. But there is something more endearing, at least to me, about making a Coco Kitty giveaway. Gold is a huge help, as any questor knows, and it's so kind of people like yourself to give it away. But a Coco...it's almost like a little friend for your avi. They're adorable, really, and more tangible than some amount of gold that one could donate. In that way, to donate a Coco is somehow more touching than to donate merely gold. I'm sure you realized all this when you first came up with the idea for this giveaway, and for that reason above any other, I have to say thank you. Thank you for being so thoughtful, thank you for being so generous as to act on those thoughts, and thank you for being determined enough to stick with it through the end.

Kindness never ceases to astonish me. We pretty much live in a materialistic world, you know? And not just on Gaia, though it?s pretty clear on here. I?m just as guilty myself- and I admit it! So something like this is unforgettable. LoveDoc, and everyone else involved, I can not thank you enough! I?m going to be on my corsage quest for a long, long time, and even if I ever finish it, by the time I did CoCo?s would be just as expensive! They?re adorable, and it will always be a reminder of the kindness Gaians still have, and of all the wonderful people I have met here already.

I haven?t been around this thread nearly as much as I feel I could have been, and I truly regret it. >w< However, I?ve noticed the charity?s amazing progress over the last 7 months, and I am truly impressed with the generosity of LoveDoc, the CocoCops xD, and all of the donators listed on the front page. LoveDoc, spending your own time working to give 50 lucky Gaians a Coco Plushie each shows genuine kindness ? no doubt a very admirable quality to possess ? and for this I thank you. If you weren?t the caring, selfless and determined Gaian that you are, I would not have this lovely Coco Plushie. ^3^
I really didn?t expect this, so you can imagine I was somewhat shocked to find that not only had my application had been accepted and considered, but I had been chosen to receive one of your hard-earned Coco?s.
Thank you LoveDoc, I will treasure this Coco and never sell it/give it away.

However, Hamlet chose to be. And in my point of view, that was the correct choice. Now I ask the same question, but not dealing with life, but questing. I decided to be. Thanks to LoveDoc, I believe I made the correct choice. Since I received a CoCo kitty, one of the hard quest items, from LoveDoc, I believe know I can finish my quest, with my sweat and blood.

Pffft_____x, scratch love, LoveDoc should actually be CoCoDoc because she doesn't love anyone, except for me of course! DD: Fooling with you, she doesn't love me. ;.; Hehehahahe, well she did cure my pain (and many others) of questing a CoCo Kitty, so she does love us (I think).. -unscratches Love- biggrin

CoCo's are black.
KiKi's are white.

You know who's awesome? LoveDoc, that's for sure!! (Well after me, anyway. razz ) After I submitted my application, I accidentally pressed the one button I now dread, "Edit". I corrected a few mistakes (and now when I look back at my application, I still had a couple of mistakes.. My join date was about 6 days later than listed, and I got confused with my old dog I got as a child, Stitch, and my old CoCo Kitty, Snowball) , but when I confessed to LoveDoc in a comment 5 minutes after, apparently the solution was, "all humans have mistakes." D: Now we all know LoveDoc isn't a human! I knew it, aliens ARE REAL!! O - O x97182748958173248973

Since boredom kills, LoveDoc, in an alias of CoCoCollector, saved me. What a superhero, in her hands was a fluffy CoCo kitty! I was already in love. I cried virtual tears of joy, finally to stop fasting of using gold and to see the most beautiful and adorable thing! I wanted to kiss LoveDoc's toes, but she flew away, ready to save someone else with a CoCo in her arms. I quickly removed my Grey cap, placed it against my heart, and looked straight in the sky. Somewhere else she's soaring, ready to make someone else cry virtual tears.

Anyway, back to the real thank you letter..

LoveDoc-

Finally you put my CoCo nursery room for use! Without you, I wouldn't have even have the confidence to complete my quest. But since you already helped me by donating a CoCo, you are truly a kind-hearted person. The other day where I found out I won, I had to go to the beach. But I didn't go crash the waves, ignoring the fact I can't swim anyway, I was so happy I was donated something like this. Before the major inflation, CoCo's were about 7k, and a very kind person donated me a CoCo because some other person was going to donate me one, but cancelled the trade right before I could even thank him. I was a bit upset because he didn't even say anything about it, and I felt even worse because it was very selfish of me to be sad that I didn't get a donation. As you can see, I later donated my CoCo for a friend's wanting, and I was really upset at the outcome. The prices for a CoCo started to rise incredibly. I finally found your thread, the day before it was open for applications. It took you about 7 months, and you did not try to at least quit during your journey. I am very proud to receive even anything from you, let alone a CoCo Kitty. In the marketplace they are about 2Ok, and if you were a scam or something, you would've kept them all for yourself. However, you aren't a scammer, but a honest and very generous Gaian. If there was the Gaia Awards, like say the Lanzers, I'd think you would really be nominated for "The Best Gaian-ess" and actually win it. Your charity should also deserve many awards, because after you have given away 5O CoCo's, you have changed many Gaians' lives. Not only 5O people who have gotten a CoCo, but all the people who stopped by the thread and even made an acquaintance. And for me to be part of the many people, I would also like to agree with the others, "Thank you." Those simple 2 words can mean a lot, because the plain words demonstrate how we feel, even if we're completely speechless with awe. "Thank you" is what I feel and what you deserve to know, and the CoCo itself speaks, "You are welcome." Thank you LoveDoc.

If two words mean a lot, three letters must be a handful. In the trade, it was titled "lol". However, I did not laugh out loud. In fact, I was really sojolbiclt. D: Screaming Of Joy Out Loud Because I'm Cool Like That. razz P I didn't even open the trade link yet.. O.o; And to see a CoCo Kitty in the trade, I almost lost my voice. I wondered when the winners were chosen, because it's a bit rude to accept a trade late. I had lost my internet and had no hopes of completing my quest, so I asked my friend to go log in my username and see if I got a trade from you. She did it for about 6 days, and said there was no trades sent to me. I was losing some hope, and eventually I stopped talking to her because since school ended, I was in 7th grade, and she was in 8th, she had go to her graduation and what-not, and since we talked at lunch, there was only lunch afterschool. Finally, I got to visit my cousin's house, and I saw a trade. I thought it was my bumping order trade that was finally completed, but no, even better. You gave me a smile worth a thousand words, and more hope that's priceless. You are truly a motivator, and your charity means a lot. If anyone is my role model, it is truly you. (Well for Gaia, anyway. But Gaia's my life. D: )

So, the "question" here is really to thank or not to thank. And I believe the answer is obvious.

P.S. If you don't see the CoCo equipped to me, I most likely lent to my younger cousin. His username varies, but his latest is LonelyBloodedAzn if you want to check him out. Apparently, he wants to show off his friends that he can "pwn them" by something that is worth about 2Ok. O-o; don't worry, I have his password, so I wouldn't have to worry if I want it back or not. He's usually CSing so I don't worry if he sells it or not (he doesn't know how anyway). o3o

I'm terribly sorry about that; this is the first time someone has donated to me you see. sweatdrop I'm actually quite honored that you would give me such an expensive item and ask for nothing in return, seeing as how many quests there are out there for a coco kitty. I actually first came to your giveaway, I just wanted a place to bump and chat with different people. I really do enjoy it as I've met some fantastic people there such as a nice young lady who gave me some excellent art, a man from Denmark, and especially you! I liked it when several people seemed awed by your prescence in your own thread, as it gives me the impression that not many people do it, and is a thing to be admired. I shall definetely stick by your giveaway, and perhaps bring some friends here as well!
