Welcome to Gaian Petz! Whether you have the game or not, you can enjoy it here with everyone else! The point of the Petz games is to take care of your virtual dog or cat; once they become adults you can persuade them to fall in love; the same is true with this shop. So take a look around and If you have any questions, ask! I'll be glad to help!

I'd decided to alter a cert i already had and use that one...Thanks for all your examples though!

About

Stages
There are three stages to petz: Newborn, child, and adult. Petz are usually sold at the child stage, and newborns are achieved through breeding.

Newborns can’t do much; they crawl around on their stomachs and make a little noise, but that’s all. A few days after they are born, a newborn petz can see and may start to walk on wably legs. A newborn will grow into a child after one week.

Children (puppiez, kittenz) are old enough to be adopted now and can roam about without their parent’s help. They are especially playful and curious and love to meet new friends and delve into nooks and crannies. A child will grow to an adult after two weeks.

Adults (catz, dogz) are now able to find a friend for life and even have children! They are fully mature and can enjoy life to the fullest.

Breedz
Right now there are three breedz of dogz: Dalmation, Labrador Retriever, and Great Dane. As time goes on more breedz will be available.

General:

1. NO FLAMING! It's just not nice^^

Flatsale:

Grey List
Anyone on this list cannot participate in any events the shop may hold, including Flatsales. They cannot RP in the RP threads either. A person is on this list until I feel they deserve to participate again. It's like a time out, except time alone can't get you out. Petz will not be taken away unless it has been a month and they have been trying to get off this list.

There are a few ways to get a Petz from this shop. The most common way is through a Flatsale, which is held monthly-ish. There are also raffles, auctions and events as well.

Customs

If you would like a custom, make sure a slot is open, then post the form in the thread. Customs cost 20k for a newborn (they are usually only obtained through breeding), 10k for a child, and 7k for an adult. If you would like one of a breed that hasn't been added, add 15k to the above prices. For now only natural colors are available. If you would like non-natural colors, it will be another 7-15k. Why so expensive? I'd rather not have a bunch of customs floating around if their owners won't commit to the pet...plus I've got a life and I work at like 5 other shops^^

Your Petz may breed once they become adults, but not before. Once two petz mate, they are mates for life. Breeding costs 4k (to be split) if the couple were RPed that they love each other, or 8k if not. (can you tell I REALLY want people to RP^^) Litters will result in anywhere from 2-4 newborns if there are two owners, and 1-4 if there is only one.

Rulez:
1. Both owners must consent to the mating through PM.
2. Both trades must be sent before I start working on the litter.
3. You may breed two of your own pets if they're not related, but you'll have to pay the entire fee.

If you own the Petz game, you might know that you can take a picture of your pet in a show pose and show them in other online forums. Well...I can supply you with a show picture to use on those online forums, and here as well. I will create a show thread for anyone who owns the Petz game or one of these petz to join the shows and earn points. My top show pet is Supreme Grand Champion CO’s Silver Mac And Cheese, isn't she purty?
