Hello, and a warm welcome to you! You can call me Fauna.
You see, some time ago I awoke in the early hours of the day to the sounds of a mewling kitten.
She was a very small thing; the collar around her throat had a tag with the name "Yin-Yang" on it and a note tied to the clasp.
Though she was still very young, it seems her owners thought she was a bit too much to handle and decided to drop her off at the first porch without a light on.
As it was, the kitten wasn't particularly difficult... It was just... A kitten. Yin-Yang is now very dear to me- and she's very friendly!
But despite that, the experience is what motivated me to open this home for Wayward Kitties!

More often than not, the adoptable kitties here are adults...
Though, occasionally we'll get kittens to tend to!
You should probably keep your adopted kittens inside until they're a bit older...
Usually the little ones are content to stay indoors when they grow up!
Sometimes, though, they yearn for the outside world and keeping them inside makes them go a little stir crazy.
In fact, they're likely to destroy everything in your house if you don't let them out once they decide they want to be out!

Indoor cats are much accustomed to the life of luxury that not having to fend for themselves lends.
They're prone to getting the zoomies™ and sometimes destroying things with their claws, but we love them anyway, right?
None of our cats are ever declawed, so expect some scratches here and there.
Indoor cats require a lot of attention, but in exchange they will give you unending love and affection and never let you go to the bathroom alone!
With indoor cats comes no worry of them ever having kindles without your knowledge, and they will only pair off with their owner's arrangement.

Congratulations on being found by an outdoor cat!
Outdoor cats are fairly independent and will hunt for their own food ( but they'll definitely eat if you leave food out for them! )
While we'd much prefer cats be indoor cats, sometimes they just refuse to be content inside a house.
All you can do in this situation is care for them when they let you! Maybe put out a nice, heated bed or some toys in your yard...
Ourdoor cats will show up when they want, and sometimes they'll bring you presents, to boot! After all, who doesn't love rodents in their shoes!?
With outdoor cats you'll have to worry about them sometimes showing up with unplanned kittens, though! You can try to persuade them towards other, specific cats, but good luck with that.

There are a few different ways you can get yourself a kitty!
Events
Occasionally we'll have events with a number of kitties up for grabs!
These events will normally have a number of similarly themed pets available!
More information on these when they happen!
Adopt a Cat
You can check to see if there's any kitties available in the agency!
Usually these cats are already full grown, but once in a while we'll get kittens.
The only concern with the kittens is that there's no way to tell what their temperament will be, so they may end up being indoor or outdoor cats.

Customs
Sometimes our caretakers might be willing to go out of their way to track down a kitty specifically to your liking.
You'll have to take it up with the caretakers, though!

Breeding
Indoor kitties will have to have a bit of matchmaking done for them before they can have kittens.
Since they live indoors it's a bit hard for them to get together unless their owners match them up together!
But outdoor kitties might just show up with a litter sometimes...
They may not even bring all the kittens home to you, who knows!

Looking for a Special Kitty?
Each colourist has their own availability and criteria for doing customs!
If you're interested in receiving a custom, your best bet is to look for colourist threads in the guild!
Templated Customs
( 200p minimum )
These customs are made only with premade templates!
Templates may be viewed here!
Unedited Customs
( 500p minimum )
These customs can use premade templates but would also include customised patterns!
Patterns may not be inappropriate. Words, numbers, and letters are case-by-case.
Edited Customs
( 1.000p minimum )
These customs may have lineart edits!
For the time being, edits may not be outside the realm of possibility for cats.
This means, for instance, if you want wings, they'll have to be on a harness.

For when you just don't have enough kitties!
Each colourist has their own availability and criteria for doing breedings!
If you're interested in receiving a breeding, your best bet is to look for colourist threads in the guild!
While same-sex relationships are perfectly acceptable, only female x male breeding can happen.
You can use surrogates, though!
In all cases, female cats cannot have another kindle until their kittens are all grown up!
Male cats, however, do not have to wait for their kittens to be fully grown before having another kindle.
All kindles contain between 2-5 kittens ( indoor ) or 3-5 ( outdoor ) by default, and this number can be modified a number of ways.
( Role Play, Customing-In, adding a Newbie Kitten, special events, etc. )
Kittens from indoor cat kindles are more likely to be indoor cats, and kittens from outdoor cat kindles are more likely to be outdoor cats.
This does not mean they are guaranteed to be indoor/outdoor cats!
Indoor Cats
Indoor cats will not breed without being set up by their owners!
In all instances of indoor cat breeding, there will be only one mother and one father.
Outdoor Cats
Outdoor cats will breed at will... This means that your cats might randomly bring home some kittens!
Sometimes with outdoor cats, a kindle may have multiple fathers!
Occasionally, some kittens from outdoor cat kindles get separated or left behind and are recovered by the adoption agency.
