Please make sure you meet all requirements before taking your screenshot or it will not be counted.
If you want to take a screenshot, first pull up your FreeRice window, so you can see the amount of rice you've earned and your vocab score. With that window open press the Print Screen button. It should look something like the picture to the right, on your keyboard.
After that's done, you should have the screenshot in your clipboard ready to be pasted in any image editing software you choose. For simplicity, let's continue with MS Paint, which you can reach by clicking your Start Menu>All Programs>Accessories>Paint, if you're using Windows XP.
A digital canvas should be showing on your screen now. You can use the menu at the top, to click Edit>Paste, and your screenshot should appear on the canvas. You can also just hit Ctrl+V on your keyboard to paste it if you like keyboard shortcuts.
Then click on the menu at top File>Save As. Type in your desired filename. If you want to upload it to our Photobucket account, it should not have the same name as another picture. Make sure that the dropdown menu that says "Save as type:" says JPEG, like the image below. If it does not, you can click the menu and change it to that. Then click "Save". Note: If your screenshot does not look like this, you will not receive your donation. (Click for full view.) |x|
After that you can upload your image using Photobucket account. You will need to create your own photobucket account. =]
