August 2024 Angel Item Avi Challenge

hi, hello and boyhowdy am I running a bit late hosting this this month.
a thousand apologies!!
unrelatedly, I would like to wish my fellow august birthday gaians a happy birth-month!!

about this/why this challenge: angel items seem to often feel a bit niche in style,
or un-usable for different styles/fashions. this is here to ecourage people to try
challenging that mindset, as well as just showing off any attempts using the poses.
(if anyone wants/is hosting a contest version of this, lmk!)

this month's angel item:
User Image

Last Courage of Summer
✩ [Aug 1 CSU] (you can also post your thoughts about the item there)

go ahead and post any avis (dream/builder are ok) using the item!!!
out of the box this item seems to fit [gender neutral, sporty, casual], so here are some
optional item/pose specific challenges:

what's the opposite vibes — elegant /fancy?
jacket seems it would work well with street fashion
hello plllls, I your host, need to see muscular body builders avis with those leg mods
user suggested or requested challenges go here

talking points/discussion:

what pose(s) do you find the most versatile? (in general vs for yourself)
what poses you think or have found to be most challenging to use and why
what styles would you consider this item to be?

alllmost managed to get this (outfit) to be 100% Kokeshi colours.
(karat gold, which is the jacket colour is the gold used in Kokeshi/Zen)

wanted to sorta twin the ghost (and my friend gifted me the new belts and I wanted to use them right away)

tried something sporty like you suggested, tho i dont think you should wear those kinds of shoes to play basketball! lol

User Image

this one is inspired by black garlic cookie from cookie run, not a full on cosplay bc that'd take way too long but i think it still has the same idea

User Image

just something a lil casual, i like how the arm lines up with the backpack and the colors :3
im almost tempted to wear it but i dont own the angel item lol

I really like the tank top in this item . Sort of " Yokai-busters " sort of vibe . Which is pretty appropo since the latest movie came out this year.

Most challenging for me ? Would be the leg and arm poses. Just a bit too girly. But maybe mostly the legs.

It's finally August and I was finally able to get my hands on this month's item! While my brain did turn to mush trying to get some inspiration for this item, I wasn't expecting a spoopy themed item this early! This time I actually tried to do some of the challenges but I don't think I was super duper successful LOL

Tried to go somewhat old/rundown fancy/elegant with this one

User Image

I wanted to try the idea of a bookish ghost bc I love this jacket with this backpack and the incorporal form for the legs, just pastel/soft colors which just make me feel cozy

User Image

I did cheat with this one; I didn't really feel super connected with the color palette of the legs/shoes [although I did like the shape of the legs alot] so I kinda hid it from sight but tried to make up for it with sports ball to play the sport (♡´艸`)
