Alright, so let's get into this. First off, please follow the Gaia ToS all the time. Time skip sex scenes if they are going to happen (yeah, right. LMAO). Keep swearing to a minimal like when something major has happened and OMFG your character can't believe it. Romance, drama and fights keep the role play interesting so they are definitely encouraged, but only In Character. Like seriously, don't start drama OOC.
Proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and all that good stuff: learn it, use it. Write at least two to four quality paragraphs. I will allow people to write short and quick replies that are enough to get things moving. If you're having difficulty coming up with something (AKA writer's block), just talk to others in OOC and plan ahead a little. Though, at the same time, don't get too ahead of yourselves and plan years down the road especially if your character isn't completely accepted yet.
We will be using real pictures only, no anime. Make the characters' face claim match their age. I will accept almost any face claims, just don't use Jenner /Hadid or Alex Evans. LOL no. Students are ages seventeen to twenty-two (late teens to early twenties). You can have up to four characters, just make sure that you can handle it (but also don't take up an entire house). Keep in mind that just because your first character was accepted doesn't mean your second or third is guaranteed to be accepted. Let your characters have flaws and diversity. They don't always have to be defined by the qualities of their House. Think of it like this: their main personality matches their House, but everything else about them doesn't have to, some might even contradict their House, if that makes sense. Also, please make sure there's a balance between characters that are Heterosexual and those who fall under the LGBTQA+ group. Regarding Heads of Houses if you want to play them: they won't always be involved in everything, as we will focus on the students. They are also there to fill up teaching spots if there's no student who wants to teach a particular subject. However, you are also free to create intricate plots for them and have them be just as important as the students.
Pretty posts are nice to look at and it will brighten up my thread, just don't go overboard with unnecessary icons, quotes etc. Make sure the image, name and role (or House) of your character is always included in your post style no matter how simple or extravagant it is. I do prefer minimal graphics, with the gifs limited to one for each post layout. Do not use blinding colors and small AF text size. Re-size your pictures so they won't stretch the page. Do not use too much list tags to the point where all the main text is on one side and there's an empty white space on the left side. Use size ten or eleven for the main text and don't use center or left alignment for it. It'll be hella helpful if you add your character's location & company somewhere in there. I also suggest quoting people you're interacting with so it'll be easier to keep track of everyone. The only external links allowed are Youtube (for music and videos), and image hosting sites such as Imgur and Photobucket. Links from Pinterest, Tumblr, Ssense and other similar sites is not allowed.
To join, fill in an application form and the proper reserve form/s then post it in the app thread. Once those are accepted, you will be given two days to finish the profile. Title it with whichever season you're filling in (Primavera, Verano, Otoño, Invierno) and send it to me. Do not edit anything in the codes, they might look off when you send them in the PM's but they will look just fine in the thread. Please follow the directions carefully and send a picture where the face of the character is clearly shown. I will give you two days to post once you are accepted. Please do not ask your friend/s to join with you then back out when only one of you gets accepted. Do not send in a PM saying you want to reserve a character without the actual reserve form, because that will be 60% of our basis for accepting the character. This is not first come first serve.
Before joining, make sure you will give this some level of dedication. Life will always come first but I'm only really asking for a few hours of your week which I hope isn't that much. Let us know what might hinder you from posting, chances are we would understand your situation. I would very much like to keep this role play going so just try to be as active as you can, especially when you have more than one character. Remember that you can post something short as long as it keeps the story moving, or at least keep from delaying others. Regarding first post: Please avoid starting off your intro post with how your character woke up. New rules will be announced, so check the front page often. If you have any questions, go ahead and ask me in a PM.
