There wasn't even a red x appearing for me, it was just gone. I tried IE and Firefox both. I was gonna wait for them to fix it, however I did some sluething and found this thread, I did the Mcafee workaround, and now my avi is back! surprised heart Thanks for making this thread and trying to help poor helpless users like me. x3;

Oh my gosh- I see my banners and my avie!!! eek Thank you so much. I have lived with only being able to change my avie at friends houses for my entrire gaia life. This computer is letting me see my thread banners now too! It used to block those as well! Thanks again!

McAfee has made available an upgrade that looks completely different and they gave it a new name.

It's called "Internet Security Suite" v.9. Lots of grief and consternation.

However, the same concept applies. It's a matter of knowing where they've put it in this application they've released.
