If the workaround did not work do you have any other Anti-Popup program (such as Microsoft Anti-Spyware) that disables ads? Not that I'm aware of.

Okay... I've tried several settings in McAfee... And none if it does any good. I still can't do anything with my avatar.

If someone could look a little further into this and find out why I can't customize my avatar, I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

i think its a isp problem problem..before i dont have any problems on my gaia and other online games but when our isp was changed i cant see my avatar and cant connect through some online games..IT IS YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER THAT HAS THE PROBLEM.contact it.

dont change the security of your computer

btw..my desktop is connected thru a wi-fi router. it might be the problem

My isp never changed! If that's the problem then I'm stuck for good! Which makes it useless to buy anything for my avatar!

But I can't see that as being the problem, it's still the same isp I've had all along!

I think this is because I have the free version that came with my Comcast High Speed Internet. I'm not sure how to go from here, since I don't want to disable McAfee completely.

I have a new one for you (I think. Don't know if anyone else has posted about this problem befor.) I can't even acess the "My Avatar" page. gonk stressed scream Every time I try to go to the My Avatar page to change my avatar all I get is a blank window. For some reason it just won't load, all I get is an empty page and the loading bar at the bottom says done.

Anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong? sweatdrop stressed scream

ok my firewall is norton so what should i do? should i do the same as other like macfee or is it the same?

and guess what i try to open my account in our school library and i was shocked not seeing my avi and this is the first time that ever happens to me...

I got rid of the privacy section of Mcafee and now my avi works!! <3 I uninstalled that part of the program. Thanks for having this up here! I thought I was the only one who couldn't change their avatar.

It appears I'm having a different problem than the one provided here- when I try to change my image, instead of having a red X or nothing it says "Click here to create new character" and when I click on it, it says I haven't deleted my old character! I haven't deleted it, it appears everywhere except for the Customize Me section:vein: If I try to click on an item and attempt to change my avatar (even though my avatar doesn't appear) it changes to no image, not even the "click here to create new character" that was there previously. I'm on an Intel Macbook using Firefox. I'm pretty sure this is not an ad thing (I don't even have McAfee). Any feedback would be appreciated.
