Greeting Delicious Friends, Scandalous Enemies and Curious on-lookersI have created this account primarily for roleplaying but this seems as fitting a place to share my love of poetry, etymology and exaggeration and to publish my manifestos.
No doubt you have come here to expand your knowledge of the entity known as Zael, and so I shall also to enlighten and entertain you in that regard.
Within Gaia’s bounteous sphere, I am free to exist happily as a gentle person of indeterminate gender, marked only by my utterances and my ability to accumulate gold with which to clothe my avatar. I will tell you no lies, but share a few useful facts about myself.
I am a Canadian, a gentle nation known for their polite manners, peaceable and even temperament and unflagging loyalty to their Queen. I shall leave it to you to judge if I exemplify this ideal or fall disappointly short of it.
I am of an age that it becomes impolite to inquire about, and unless you are an individual exceedingly rare in these parts, I am mostly likely older than you. By the averages of Gaia, I exceed the status of elderly and approach near immortal. This account is young, but I do assure you that it contains a very old soul indeed.
While I have a strong affection (and affectation) of the Victorian period, I should caution those expecting this to make me a sensitive and sheltered soul who values high morals and good breeding, that I am a self professed bohemian and dilettante. Manners do not make morals and I am a firm believer that even if one embraces the weird and dark edges of the world, and revels in scandal and decadence, it does not hurt to be polite.
My primary vices include the demon caffeine, verbosity, documentary films, poetry and other seditious literature and periodicals. I am also quite partial to Turkish delight and other heavily sugared confections.
I am a dedicated roleplayer, both in forums, but also in the formats of tabletop and LARP.
I am a law abiding citizen of Gaia and would not willingly do anything to offend it’s rules of conduct. But rest assured, there is little in this wide world that shocks me as I am a tolerant and opened minded and not easily offended.
All are welcome here, though the boorish and wilfully ignorant will be cheerfully ignored. I am open to correspondence through pms, particularly as they relate to invitations to guilds or roleplays and am most appreciative of overtures of heartfelt friendship and generosity.
