Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Tony and I'll be your host today. Let me tel you a little about myself... I am a 17 year old from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. On November 2 I will be turning 18. At which time I will be enlisting in the Marine Corps as an infantryman. Now before you ask, no, I do not think I'm special, I don't think I'm a hero, and no, I'm not an Idiot. I just want to be a part of something better than myself.

Now that that's out of the way, lets talk about music. See, I'm a weird person when it comes to music. I like rock, but not all rock. I like metal, but not all metal. I like country, but not all country. I like Hip Hop, but not all Hip Hop. Basically I like music in general.

What? Do I play sports? No. I don't. I did, way back in middle school. I played basketball. And I was horrible. And the coaches sucked. And in general it was a horrible experience.

Hobbies? Yes, I have hobbies. Most of my time is spent reading. I read all kinds of books. But when Im not reading I'm playing video games. (no not CoD, those games are gay.) I play games like Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Gears of War, Assassins Creed... You know, games that take skill. And when I feel like going outside I am probably going to an Airsoft match. And when I don't feel like shooting fake guns, I go out and shoot real ones with my dad.

I don't know Marine standards, but males in the army have to do a minimum of 42. I would definitely work on pull ups. That's not part of our pt test, but it should be.

The whole point of bootcamp is to get your body up to speed. I could barely do 4 push ups when I joined. After basic training and AIT, I was up to 66 in the 2 minutes and I only stopped because time was up.

Story of the military life right there. "My recruiter lied to me".
Mine didn't, but he knew I wanted in no matter what. So he didn't have to fluff me up.

It's pretty hard to fly planes in the airforce believe it or not. The army has more planes than the airforce lol.

I was going to join the airforce, but my tattoos prevented that from happening. My father was in the Army, so that was my second choice smile
Nothing wrong with a preference. I hope you enjoy the experience. It's not for everyone.
