Are you kidding me? Theres only 2 chances that you will get a higher amount of gold than the sell price and they're the least likely ones that you can get, if your into taking that chance go for it, but if your not (me) then sellings the best way to go.

But you also take the risk of getting as low as 5k, I've had my experiences with random item boxes/bags, I'd rather just get the gold and not risk losing everything its worth.
