it really does! i love how that website feels like it has so many vast hidden treasures sprinkled throughout the site. there's so many different parts of the site! like it's really cool it has random 3d environments and a very unique online universe. it really does feel like there are some css wizards on there like you mentioned! cat_whee
i always love visiting there to see what sort of random page i can find

i know what you mean! i also like having a space like that. mine is also fairly simple. i don't know much at all in the way of CSS, so my pages rely on my minimal knowledge of the HTML i did when i was a kid cat_xp still it's a lot of fun to just do. like having a place to post pictures and stuff

i agree! it's definitely soothing in comparison to the rest of the internet! cat_smile
i was thinking of neocities when i was replying to your journal! i love neocities!! it's really fun to explore and go on the different sites and see oldschool graphics and stuff! i'm glad there are parts of the internet where people can design webpages and practice that kind of creativity. i love how it captures a similar feeling to geocities as well!
i like making personal pages on there (i used to love playing with HTML when i was a kid) but i recently disabled the profile features because the parts that remind me of social media (followers/following/update feed) made me kind of anxious. i always wonder what i should do with my website but it's always been a sort of expirimental playing around thing on there. neocities is so cool, i'm glad you also enjoy that site as well!
