So, by the insistence of a rather persistent individual, I have actually put together a profile. These points about me are in no particular order - just goes to show how random I am.I am, by definition, pansexual - I find a person attractive with no consideration of their gender, be it male, female, transgendered, hermaphroditic or whatever else there might be out there in the big wide world. Makes life interesting. biggrin

I am a music junkie! I listen mainly to rock, metal and country (weird combo, I know), but enjoy a bit of everything except gospel and gangsta rap. You will never catch me without my MP3 player on me, even if it's a five minute jaunt to the corner store. Only downside to that is the sheer number of batteries I go through in a month. Also, I am one with the long forgotten art of chairdancing. No, I don't mean lapdancing; I mean dancing while one's butt is firmly planted in or on a seat of some form. Cars are especially good for this.
I am a highly spiritual person. Don't confuse that with religious - though I was raised Anglican Christian, I've been non-practicing for many years, feeling more at home on a spiritual level out amongst nature as opposed to sitting in a pew every Sunday. Being around water is especially calming for me; there's just something about it that makes me feel peaceful and at one with the world. Another aspect of my spirituality is the fact that I am a proud member of the Toronto furry community. No, this doesn't mean I go around dressed in a mascot suit looking to molest the family dog - that's a negative stereotype that, while it might apply to a very small percentage of furres in the fandom, does not apply to this member in particular. For me, it is a spiritual path, nothing else.
I am an artist, though how good of one is debatable. My preferred medium is pencil and paper, though I also delve into writing and photography on occassion. I have a good number of personal projects on the go right now, not the least of which is a novel I'm piecing together little by little. As well, for those that are curious, I have an online portfolio; Shaydethelemur is my username on DeviantArt.
I'm 420-friendly; no, I will not give it up because someone tells me it's bad for me, same with cigarettes, casual sex and the occassional dive into a bottle of booze. I enjoy my vices fully and within the confines of being responsible about them. Sorry to come across as bitchy for that, but if you take offense to honesty, then you're not the kind of person I need to be hanging around. For those that share my vice, I will say this much - you guys rock.
Cowboys are sexy. Period. Bonus if they come with that good ol' Southern redneck drawl. Also, Irish accents. OMFGyum.
Books are love, especially the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Mmhmm.
I do have messengers (MSN and AIM); yes, you can ask for them if you wish. Bear in mind that if you act like a prat , I can and likely WILL block and delete you. I have very little tolerance for people that refuse to get a clue in that regard. Also, which messenger I use depends on if I'm at home or work, and my MSN (home IM) is typically logged on under busy status when I'm online. This is because I tend to be antisocial a lot of the time; I have to be in the mood to talk to you. It's nothing personal, but if you have the kind of ego that can't deal with not having someone's undivided attention all the time, then you might as well move on. It's a personality quirk of mine and it's not going anywhere. Also, please be mindful that I can be extremely malicious if I'm pushed far enough by people that can't take a hint, especially when it's bright and shiny with flashing neon arrows (though it takes a LOT to get me to that point). Please, do us both a favour and don't be that someone, mkay?
