The Real Me:Yeah, I'm not too sure how I found out about this place, but i'm here nonetheless, and thats all that matters! Anyhow, my original name is Nathan, or you can call me Nate, it really doesn't matter to me. I come from a small town in central Pennsylvania but I go to college in Erie. Currently, I'm finishing up my freshman year.
My official major is "Web Information Systems" which is a fancy name for a computer science degree that focuses on web programming and other related aspects. I work part time as a Web Analyst, another fancy title that covers many different jobs, ranging from basic website creation to images and even research. I consider myself to be a novice at what I do, for I only know bits and pieces, but I help out where I can.
I'm working on starting up my own business, everything is still in the planning stages as of now, so I can't really say much about it other than it has to do with gaming.
Anyways, I'm generally a pretty laid back guy, I take the days as they come. In my free time I like to enjoy some video gaming with my friends. Staying up and watching anime late into the night is also a personal favorite of mine. I like a variety of music, mostly alternative/rock and some jpop. I'm very in tune with my surroundings (for the most part) and enjoy spending some time outdoors, especially if its camping or going for a late night stroll on a cool summer night. I tend to find myself daydreaming alot, which I think has to do with my creative side which I don't show all the time.
That's only the basics really, theres so much more I could talk about, but hey, I'll attempt to keep this somewhat short.
The Origin of Treidan:
About 4 or 5 years ago, my twin brother and I got into some minor video game creation with my friends, and we came up with a storyline and a bunch of characters. We made up the names, and one of the characters was Treidan. I didn't look at anything to come up with this name, so I don't know what else the name is used for, other than a person asking me one time if it was the father of the little mermaid or something, and in response I just said, "Hey, it's better down where it's wetter."
Treidan is a mercenary soldier in his early twenties. He suffers from amnesia, so he only remembers his life from about age 16. Even though he considers himself a mercenary, he takes just about any job he can find, and will stray off the main path just to help someone in need. His weapon of choice is his halberd, Ryvual, which is an intelligent weapon. Unlike Treidan, Ryvual tends to be cold and calculating in nature, and constantly pesters Treidan for the reasons behind his actions. Despite their opposite personalites, Treidan and Ryvual get along well, especially since both of their pasts are shrouded in mystery.
Treidan and Ryvual live from day to day, job to job, hoping to find answers, but they don't go actively looking for them. When a clue appears, they pursue it as far as it can go, but so far, nothing has come up that would tell them of their pasts.
