Hello everyone!
My name is James. I'm from Puerto Rico.It's been a year since I joined Gaia. Bofore I joined I was feeling very alone. I always liked Asia. I always liked to watch Jackie Chan movies and such. XD What I didn't knew is that I was gonna meet asian people here. It turned out that most asian are really friendly and I had nice experiences that I'll never forget. Thanks to this I've been even more interested in Asia. I wanna learn about their languages, history, and culture.

So now let's take an imaginary trip to some places in Asia.










Our first stop Vietnam.








Thy-Thy my best and first friend I met here ^_^ I met her in september 2005




























While in vietnam I met a very nice girl. Her's name's Thy-Thy. It's already been a year since we met and she's my best friend ^_^She's a very nice girl. She's a bit crazy XD But she's a real friend. She even remembered my birthday ^_^

Here's what she says about Vietnam:
Hm, if you're the first time there, you'll probably think that it is very hot and very moist/humid there because you usually fly to one of the biggest cities there, Ho Chi Minh City (or they called it Saigon earlier), which lies in the south of Vietnam. So the clima there is tropical of course. It's very warm throughout the year, there's no snow, no seasons. Well, sometimes it does rain, in huge masses but because of the heat it will evaporates quickly.

The next important thing is, that the people there always drive with mopeds, there aren't many cars, only taxis, but the streets are full of mopeds.
It's really funny to watch tourists trying to cross the streets, because they nearly can't without much courage xDD Ok, it's dangerous, but it's possible. You just have to hold each others hands and then walk slowly forward if there is temporary a free spot, just walk to it, the mopeds will avoid you, cause they're very flexible, not like cars.

Next Stop Philippines:
They used to write in this script untill the year 1700 if I'm not mistaken. Now they use regular alphabet.



I met another friend in Philippines. In March 2006. Her name's Dianne.


She's the MSP (Most special girl) ^_^ She's very kind and friendly. She was my first and unfortunatly my last penpal. But I'm glad to experience that. She listens to people. And even though I tease her a lot she's always there for me. And what else? She's beautifull isn't she? ha ha ^_^ But serously. She means a lot to me. *hugs her*
