I live about 30 minutes west of NYC in New Jersey.

Its crazy because I've like a few wild coyotes, bears and very frequent wild turkeys, deer, opossums and all in my yard in NJ...and...with no traffic.. a 30 minute drive to the heart of Manhattan. Only thing there wild is people. LOL

I'm doing the same as you. I actually love home and try to keep it peaceful.

I think I'll drive into NYC a couple of times to see their Xmas stuff...but...mostly I'm enjoying home.
