I guess the most important thing to know about me is that I'm an anime nerd. I've found something good in every anime and manga I've watched and read since I got into it.Drawing in anime/manga style has been a hobby of mine for about four years now. I could use a lot of improvement, as can any artist, but I enjoy doing it no matter what my skill level is in the eyes of others. I love writing, too--not just fanfics, but short prose, the occasional poem (when I've got writers block, it's easiest for me to just write bad poetry for a little while), and more often lately, budding novels. I've not yet finished a novel, though I've started a fair few. Currently I have two that I'm pretty serious about continuing and trying to finish, even though one's still pretty much in just the planning stage. It's a first, trying to plan anything I write. Usually, I just start writing and go with it, but this will hopefully improve the chances of finishing.
As for my personality, I'm not sure what it is. People tell me nice things, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say. I don't have many skills to speak of, but I do know I've got the potential for a lot of different skills. Does that make sense? I like to stay home most of the time, or go to people's houses and do absolutely nothing other than what I'd ordinarily do at home. I would even go to someone else's house to read or write or draw. But I do like taking walks. Nature is such a relaxing place for me. It is to me what music seems to be to other people. Having the peaceful silence with only the sounds of animals and wind around me is probably the greatest feeling I've ever had.
I love animals and if I can spend my entire life with them, I'll be happier for it. I've never gone more than 3 weeks without a dog and I hope to someday be a foster owner for shelter dogs, as well as adopting.
I have a lot of interests, mostly in the realm of art and the outdoors. Feel free to talk to me--new people are one of those many interests!
