Yes, it would be profiling.
But I often separate people by hair color.
Fake. Real. Ginger. True blond.
That sort of thing.
That way when they commit a crime, I can stereotype the entire subculture at will.

Not that I was eavesdropping on your comments (I was actually, I'm fairly nosy), you do look a bit like Rupert Grint. Just a tiny bit, and that's why everyone says that.
