My nickname on Gaia is Yomiko, as I love the anime Read or Die because the character Yomiko sort of reminds me of myself. I will tell you a little about myself IRL and I hope to not bore you too much...
I am adopted, and I look Asian but my adoptive parents are unsure what ethnicity I am. We think I am either part Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. I will probably never know, as I never knew my parents. When I was a child I was an early reader, and found myself being extremely enticed by books. I read them all the time. I'd read at school, on the playground, at home... practically all day. I did not like interacting with other children however, which is when I was diagnosed with Aspergers.
I am technically a genius according to my IQ test, as last time I was tested when I was 16 I had a 178 IQ. I skipped grades in school and was in Community college by the time I was 13. I graduated from a university (I do not like to disclose much information online) with a bachelor's degree in literature when I was 17.
Today, I work as a library cataloger, and adore my job. I live with my parents and in my spare time enjoy reading and coming on Gaia. I am looking to start roleplaying, but I'm not sure how good at it I will be. Please be patient with me! : )
