Sometimes it's better to live in the lies.

I believe in angels,
The kind that heaven sends,
I am surrounded by angels,
But I call them friends.

The past cannot be changed,
the future is still in your power.

Do it trembling if you must,

Somewhere there's someone who dreams of your smile,
and finds in your presence that life is worth while.
So when you are lonely, remember it's true
Somebody somewhere is thinking of you.

I drag my bare feet upon the cold lonely shore,
As I sadly stare out upon the never-ending sea.
Tucked my hands deep within my pockets,
It feels as if you've still got every single part of me.
I constantly find myself returning to this ocean,
It was there you showed me I truly had a heart.
You described your deep eternal love with a kiss,
Whoever thought we would end up broken apart.
Our love now is nothing more then a mere dream,
A dream too distant, unreal, never to come true.
Heart locked in chains, key thrown into the ocean,
I was fed a lie, a mere dream of "I love you."
