Do you believe what the older people around town are saying about giants? Wouldn't we see them if they were walking around in the hills? Giants are tall... We'd see them, right?

We're lost... We were searching for provisions. We've been sailing and are trying to get home, but we were so low on food and water, so we stopped here to look for resources. We've been very unsuccessful. We didn't realize how cold and barren these mountains were. Do you two live around here? Is there fresh water nearby? We're pretty desperate at this point...
