I’m Ariadne Mesa, and seventeen years old. Recently, I’ve become more quiet than I used to be, though I’m still as random and still enjoy listening to sporadically happy music. Somehow, I’ve begun to look significantly younger each year I grow older, and at the moment, I look like I’m fourteen. I haven’t been on Gaia very often because of college applications and school in general. I’ve played piano for eleven years, and I’ve been hired before as a professional accompanist, teacher, and soloist. I never realized it before, but I'm so surrounded by some of the best pianists in America.I genuinely love learning, and one of my greatest fears is that I’ll lose my curiosity when I grow up. During a Harvard interview, I rattled on and on about my love of learning and how I want to help others achieve that same curiosity and passion.
One of my hobbies that originated on Gaia is making people happy. I’ll go up to people and just smile at them, or say something nice to them. It’s amazing how much a simple, genuine smile can change the mood of a day, isn’t it?
