Several articles of clothing later Byron's hands were red and dry. The boy was breathing more heavily; the pile was large and he'd been giving every effort into every shirt, every pair of pants and every piece of underclothing.
As the boy was scrubbing madly away at a pair of expensive looking jeans his master called, "You call this clean?" Sebastian tossed a sopping shirt back to Byron. It made a repelling squishing sound as it landed on the floor next to him. Well, even if the shirt had been clean before, it was certainly dirty now. "That's pathetic, do it right this time."
"Yes, sir." Byron grunted, attacking the shirt once more.
"You won't be getting lunch if you don't hurry up and finish." came Sebastian's cold voice.
Byron redoubled his efforts to the point of breaking into a sweat though insisted on doing a thorough job. The slave panted as the pile diminished, a little angry that he wasn't allowed to use the washing machines but never daring to say so.
