Hello.
My name is Desmi, though I mostly go by the alias Mister Spider.
There are several reasons why. Only one is my fondness of arachnids. wink
I am a themed mule, though I shall not disclose my main. Smoke and mirrors are fantastic, are they not?((Also note that I'm a roleplay mule; I am usually in character, may break character every so often if it's to help someone, but otherwise will always speak in a certain way.))
Although I may appear to be a dark elf and have a fascination with spiders, I am unfortunately not that simple a man. It has taken me centuries to come to terms with my heritage, but I am confident enough to state that I am a mongrel of various demonic strands - satyr, 'cubus, gorgon, harpy, cornugon and pit fiend to name a few. Most of these come from my mother, who I believe embodies the word demon quite nicely. My father was mostly satyr himself; though reputedly my grandmother, his mother, was either some sort of nymph, or a half-nymph. Either way he had a great deal of fey in him, which he hid well from my mother.
It became apparent in my childhood to my father that I was to house both aspects, and as such I was told that I would need to make a choice of which one I would most focus. Perhaps my choice would be considered foolish by some, but I far prefer the freedoms of a fey to the chains of a demon. Upon reaching puberty I was unable to hide particularly fey features and had to flee from my home, though quite gladly - though I fear my father is dead by my mother's hands, as it may have given him away.
Anyway, that's enough of that.
