Because I Could Not Stop for Death by Emily Dickinson

Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
and Immortality.

We slowly drove, he knew no haste,
And I had put away
My labor, and my leisure too,
For his civility.

We passed the school where children played
At wrestling in a ring;
We passed the fields of gazing grain,
We passed the setting sun.

We paused before a house that seemed
A swelling of the ground;
The roof was scarcely visible,
The cornice but a mound.

Since then 't is centuries; but each
Feels shorter than the day
I first surmised the horses' heads
Were toward eternity.

So the filler in this part is that I’m a female. I’m old enough to legally purchase cigarettes and alcohol.
I live on the East Coast in the States. <.<
I’m awkward. Shy.
A bit crazy with just the right amount caffeine!
I’m fairly often on because I don’t have a life.
I love Anne Bishop. And she often inspires me. Duh.
She’s amazing and if you haven’t checked her out, GO NOW!
Read her books and be amazed by her brain.
Or at least what it dishes out…
Music junkie as well as an anime watcher and video games, because no life, remember!
I am working on going back to school but that’s then and not now.
And this is just pointless rambles at this point so I’m wrapping it up here.

My Resume and Expectations

Reply Size: I can dish out a lot of paragraphs to not a lot. I don’t care about word size or having a certain amount of paragraphs every reply. This is supposed to be fun not a bloody chore to match some unreasonable word count! Some replies will be shorter and other’s longer. It just depends on what is going on, yes?

Novel-style writer/Descriptive is my style and yes, I would like to find someone like that!

Activity: I like to reply often because I’m on often (I have no life in case you didn’t read that blob of words above this). A reply once a week isn’t too much to ask, is it?

Image/Face claims: I use them but I still describe my characters because I tend to make changes despite the image. It’s really there as more of a guideline to better helps your mind’s eye to see them.
I do prefer drawn and will have to be…persuaded to use real. One, I’m not all in the scene of famous people and I do find it awkward, sometimes, to use someone’s real face. I’m just sayin’.

Characters: I like to have more than one and can play both genders although my males do tend to be on the I’m an a*****e who has a side with a bit of a showing up at your front door with flowers in a pin stripe suit. And most likely urk you the rest of the time. My girls can be crazy to reserve. But don’t drop me a message saying, I can only play a female because that’s total bullshit. Males have personalities too. They have emotions just like woman. I do understand an individual who is simply tired of always playing male and would like a breather and play their own gender. That is a cake walk of a difference.

Romance: I’m not even going to lie, I love it. I can go for your fluff, heartwarming stuff or the disaster kind that makes you question why this is happening! From one-sided affection to we love each other but can’t be together kind. It doesn’t have to be the core of the role-play and just be something that happens or doesn’t. It’s whatever, y’know? ToS. That means if things get hot, the curtains closes and we move on.

I am leaning towards hetero pairings but not adverse to m//.

Medium: Private Threads and PM's.I just don't keep up with anything else. I'll use PM's for chatting because OCC is something I like despite being awkward and shy. And for plotting purposes as well. ^-^

Pretty Layouts: Go to the extremes and dazzle me with the sheer awesomeness of what you have that leaves me uber jealous and be like, O_O nomnom. Or something simple that gets the point across because, ugh coding! Or have none at all and be happy dandy. I’m fine with either of those options. I, for one, will have a layout because they are for my enjoyment. (I get bored and things tend to be made?)

Ditching: I’ve done it. You’ve done it. Everyone has! It’s a thing that occurs. If I haven’t replied in a while, send me a message. The chances are I may have forgotten all about it and Gaia didn’t notify me that there was a reply. And I could have easily overlooked you reply. Seriously, this is a thing in my life.

My Plots / Ideas

The world in which our characters thrive in is one where they are all born with a daemon of sorts. The range from the smallest of animals such as an elephant mouse to phoenixes and dragons but it has been traditional for such mighty daemons to hail from the royal line. Those who possess dragon daemons are the ones who are destined to sit upon the throne.

The plot line itself would be around a character who is b*****d child (of the queen or king) and was left to die but was adopted by a family. Character A was never told of this and so when it was discovered his daemon was a dragon, a bounty was put on his head and assassins came after him. He, the boy, is unaware of this. OR be a commoner who has no ties to any royal line.

The human and their daemons have a mental connection, allowing the two to speak to one another. The more mystical beings do have special abilities.

Mafia style roleplay || there are two opposing families that are stuck in a stalemate. These two groups were once a united front but have separated after a few generations. The reason for this has been lost and no one knows the truth anymore. || Arcana Family follow the Tarot Cards. They are very orderly and rigorous group. The heads of the family are named after the major arcana but the one who stands at the top is always known as the World. And only the Majors and those that work closests with the World knows the World’s identity and is a heavily guarded secret in the attempt to thwart assassination attempts. || Burlesque Family are wild and appear to have no orderly function. There is no structure to the family and the only thing that is understood is that the leader of their family is clear while everything else is...not. To put it in simple terms it’s chaos if you’re an outsider but those inside? Well, they don’t share their secrets so easily.
