About Masashi

In 1651 during the Edo Period, the 11 year old Masashi becomes the fourth Shogun, leading his influential chief retainers to plot against each other to take the reins of power. The Hattori family, a clan of Iga Ninjas who were former vassals and protectors of the previous Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu have since fallen from grace. Their third generation ancestor, Hattori Hanzo (Sonny Chiba) is now working as the master at public bathhouse in Edo City. Fearing further political upheaval and instability, the Shogun’s right hand man, Masayuki Hoshina once again calls upon the unique skills and services of Hattori Hanzo’s Ninja Clan. During the day, they masquerade as ordinary citizens, but at night they ride forth as the “Kage No Gundan,” the secret “Shadow Army” who opposes all those who dare to threaten the authority of the reigning Shogun.

The term sei-i taishōgun means "great general who subdues the eastern barbarians." "Eastern barbarian" is one of several ancient terms for various groups who lived in eastern area and had not yet become subject to the central government. Among them were the aboriginal Ainu people who once inhabited Honshū in addition to Hokkaidō.

Minamoto no Yoritomo, the first shogun of the Masashi_Sasuke, seized considerable power from the aristocracy in Kyoto. He became the practical ruler of Japan, and received the title sei-i taishōgun. Thereafter, the heads of three successive shogunates received the same title. After the downfall of the Kamakura Shogunate, certain conditions had to be met in order for a Warlord to be bestowed the title of Shogun. First and foremost, the warlord had to be of Minamoto Clan descent. Secondly, all of Japan had to be unified under a single Daimyo. If a warlord unified Japan, and was not of Minamoto descent, then he would be bestowed the title of Regent.

Four years after Masashi became one with his high Tittle, war broke out, east sea was flooded with the strange worriers called Dethlocks. called that for the way it sounds when there swords would click as if locking in place, that would be the locks part of the name, the Deth is Death, there armor was black enough that it seems as if it was made from the cloak of Death himself, Dethlock attacked at 3:43 am. a blind attack, there armor helped them easily pass by the large wall which separated Masashi land and his people from invading Country's. they would attack the far east wing first, moving fast even in the heavy armor, they swiped the 6 small farm villages with ease. by the time word got to Masashi, it was almost to late for the East side. the Dethlock's moved fast enough to burn down 13 small villages and 3 larger farm villages. there Dethlocks. slow moving, and loud solders. yet they moved silent. as if they knew where to walk, as if they knew where the softest grass would be. the loud yet soft this time solders moved through the grassy lands without detection at all until they hit the fourth large Farm Village. which set off the alarm.

Without second thought of who or what entered the East side of Masashi, the first which is second best to Masashi himself, the “Kage No Gundan,” the secret “Shadow Army” moved out first, called the Shadow Army for a reason. they moved fast, cutting through the trees without even waking the people in the towns that was safely behind the larger walls of the inner Japan slept soundly. with just tapping they moved up the large walls that stretched longer then 200 feet they moved up it, then with a push they would thrust off the top of the walls far off into a jump that lead off into thick bamboo trees. it was so silent as they moved through the bamboo which hardly even budged from there feet that almost was like feathers moving along the bamboo. there black light weight ninja out fits made it so easy to move. and the thick blackness of the out fit itself was even blacker then those of the Dethlock. then, came the sound of fire, and metal clinging and locking.-

The Dethlock's, which burned through the Fourth Largest Farm of Japan, stood, slowly this time looking for survivors, looking as they would only hear the sound of fire around them. there armor shined with only flickers of the fire around them. after 5 to 10 minutes passed, they would then start to move. but they wouldn't move to much. most would stop, noticing they would be slightly heavier. and with this armor its kinda hard to be heavier. the only sound is there slow moving metal, and the loud fire. they would walk around each other to see whats all the weight. on the backs of the Dethlocks, there black armor, which for some reason, wasnt as shiny as the rest of the armor. as all there armor was all smugged with smug from the fire. so most would ignore it, but one, one would move its front closer ((Front, as in half of its face and chest)). and would stop half way at the back of a Dethlock. he would stand there for a second, and thats all it toke, a low slice would then be heard, as if something cutting into a metal handle bar. every Dethlock that was close enough to hear would sling there heads to where they were looking at the Dethlock that was closest to another Dethlock. slowly half of his body would slide down, but before it would start sliding, thick layers of blood would start to pure out of its torso as the torso upper and lower would hit the ground, in peaces. the Dethlocks in shock and now in alert, would raise there weapons. ready for anything. and on the back of about 23 Dethlock, eyes would be seen, on the backs of the Dethlocks would be the Shadow army ninjas, there armor almost as black as the Dethlocks, would and was helping them blend in with the enemy. the Shadows would sling up fast as they would sling up kicking, not even knocking down the Dethlock's they was on, and thrust forward right at others, attacking with speed not might and blunt force, 20 on the battle field and 6 from East, West. North, and South of the Dethlocks, surrounding them even tho the Shadow army is out numbered, brains and tactics out number might and brute force every time.

Back at the Walls of Japan. Masashi, Standing at the top with Four ((two on each side)) Kinsho's ((Samurai Lords)), Masashi would look off into the darkness, far off into the night towards the light of the fire. knowing the Shadow Army is winning. he would turn to his left, then his right, and the Lords would leave in a flash. he would look back into the dark. without an expression, or a movement, instead of the Lords forming back to Masashi, someone els moved behind him faster then the Lords. "well...Kage No Gundan seems to be doing well after all this time of not even doing one job, but only training, i guess its true about them never losing a step" said ???. "hmm...you was there the whole time? or just now?" Masashi said. "come on, you think i would watch them kill our people?" said ???. "i think you would do what you want if it wasnt for the money" said Masashi. "oh? you shame me, i dont do everything for money...come now why think that?" said ??? as she moved in a up right position behind Masashi. "Do not pester me with calculating me on what i might be thinking, not really something i like in the ways you work. my Kage do not like how you for see attacks by reading movements before they even happen. kinda creeps them out Luna, i dont think they want you around them so much anymore now that you are always watching them like a tick watches a dear or dog humps a leg" Said Masashi. "ah?! what? just cus i can do a few things they or no one can dont mean i have to stay away from some interesting people you loon!" said Luna. "any ways Luna, find out who sent these Dethlock? not any normal human could send demon humans out, and control so many without such a problem" Masashi said. " well...uhh there black armor makes me guess there Dethlock...>.>..." said Luna with a sweatdrop at the same time. " -_- "..." you dont know anything do you?...im guessing you was looking at the horses instead of actually fallowing the Kage's this one time?" said Masashi without turning around. "......"..Another Sweat Drop on Luna from his comment.

Appearance:a large blue Kimino out fit. the sleeves have one yellow strip on each sleeve, very baggy, comfortable and is always on him, only wearing boxer underwear underneath the kimino, wears a hat all the time, its blue with a peace of paper that has a symbol that he so far only knows what it means. black hair thats slightly spiky, his eyes are colored black with a slight greenish look, the Kimino is always closed from scars of his past, ((can be moved to view scars, like a hard wind or something enough to move the out fit slightly)) the inner part of the Kimino is black and silky just like the out side, he wears old sandles on his feet, his face looks smooth but if touched the feeling would be of scars, hidden by the years

Personality:silent if not messed or bothered with, he likes anything he needs to, as in, if he has nothing he is fine, he will sit and relax, or another example, if he had only a sirtan kind of leaf to eat he would and would spar it with another, does not like to talk, but does listen, always listening and watching all around him as if wanting to know more about them, how they move, or look, and act, believes to talk is to let out about yourself and let all know about you, lies about his age, and thinks when someone talks he learns about how and who they are, is a master at Arts, Kong-Fu, Jujitsu, and ect, only does defensive attacks, never attacks unless necessary, thinks smoking is not cool but he does it, likes to clean, not a neat freak, but gives him something to do, and more about him latter on when learned
