- He's learning magic from Priest Mahaad Abridged, but doesn't use it often, because his universe is not designed that way. He mostly uses it when he visits other universes.
- The multiverse concept only really makes sense to him because he's been reading American comics. Fortunately or otherwise, it doesn't really work that way.
- Malik's life is largely built around trying to make up for his misdeeds from his Battle City days. But he's integrated his "repentance" into his daily life so much that he doesn't really think about it anymore.
