First Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye is Colonel Roy Mustang's adjutant. She has the longest crush on Roy for ages, which is the main reason she joined the military and hung around him, and she would lay down her life for Mustang (together with the ten thousand fan girls).

Riza Hawkeye has a no-nonsense attitude. Although she is the only female among Roy Mustang's subordinates, she is the most serious and one of the more capable officer. She is supposedly an expert shooter but in the anime, have failed to demonstrate her abilities, not living up to the reputation of 'having the eyes of a hawk'. She has more 'screentime' in the manga though, attracting even the ruthless killer 'Barry the Chopper'.

Riza Hawkeye is Roy's First Lieutenant,
working directly alongside him. There
is not much information on how she
came to be working under the colonel,
but she is first seen in the anime as
being at his side when he was a
lieutenant colonel. Fandom has it
that she might have known him before
that point, but some think she might
have only just started to work for him
at that point. The manga does show a
brief scene of her during the Eastern
Rebellion, a sniper rifle trained on
Roy, but there is not much information
to go along with the scene. (But if
anyone knows more, the webmistresses
would certainly love to hear it.)
