Here's the photo album with some of the photos I took. Not sure when you'll see it, if you're even going to check back.

Well, I'm back. Woke up at 5 this morning, couldn't sleep. Something will have to be done about that. At least I got to watch the sunrise, but it wasn't too good.

Well, enough explosions and childishness becomes pretty damn awesome, I would say. And I doubt Ryan has any explosions. Though, some of that is good to have, to a limited extent. I could stand to gain some childishness, I'm certain it would come in handy.

Anyways, the fjords proved better than the rest of Norway so far by a long shot, though they too grew dull after a while. We first went by train, then by bus, then by boat, then by train some more. All of this involved dragging around the bags. Going to Stockholm tomorrow (plane leaves at something like 7 AM, so we have to get up at five -_-) so that shall be a nice change of pace. At this point, I have over 2000 photos and 3 hours of video footage from everyone combined. I've uploaded some of the older stuff already, only a little bit. Here they go:

Oslo's a lot nicer than Bergen, the prices here are at least approaching reasonable. Free coffee and tea downstairs seems to be standard for hotels here, it's very handy. This one also has a cozy little reading corner with a library of fancy-looking books, most of them Norwegian. This room is as far away from the elevator as one could get, sadly, but you can't have everything. I would be sleeping now (because I have to get up at five, as mentioned before) but I'm copying video footage to the laptop and it's 1-for-1 capture, which is lame. The camera doesn't even have enough battery to finish writing it. I'd go get the charger, but it's in the other room (which is two floors up and also distanced from the elevator) and there are no empty outlets.
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed that party, if only a bit. You should be out having more fun in the summer. Just a few days ago I was berated by a friend for not having a Facebook and thus not being invited to parties and some nonsense. Odd, considering she's also one of the arts kids and a crazy introvert. Maybe her girlfriend has been an influence in that direction, or maybe she's just being forced to be more outgoing now that school unites the bunch of us no longer. Whichever. Anyways, I am off topic once more. I think I've exhausted anything of import...picture's worth a thousand words and all that. Most of the time, trees or poles blocked off my photos, and being on the wrong side of the train cut off many great shots of the glaciers which I shall have to get from my grandfather.
I should be going. I'll talk to you later, then, or at least drop off another comment. What was that about talking to a corpse you said once? I recall Krysta telling me something about a chat client in this place.

*huggles back* Which is why I want to move there, but I'm chasing a dream per say. I really want to be a Foley Artist and that is where it is at, Cali. It seems a place I could live anyway because not that it's my scene, but there is so much to do, I'm sure. I am getting a bit worn down with the midwest and it's snowing when it's supposedly spring break and our summers being cut short. The seasons get into such a giant turbulence war over one another, March isn't it's own month a all.

There's that reason, and my friend has been wanting to room with me for quiet some time. That was the destination she picked which is awesome for me and quite the convenience.

It feels weird to chase your dreams. I mean, not in the concept that it's a bad kind of weird, but that good kind of weird. Growing up with dreams or without them, and then getting so much closer..a few steps closer to them, that in itself is a dream come true. What are you thinking you want to be, by the way? Or do you have no idea? (It really is okay if you don't know, I don't think we're sure of anything in our lives until we're actually in the spur of the moment I suppose)

I might be known as the girl who never attended college in her life because it wasn't meant for her, but is making a fairly good income anyway. Prove those assholes at the high school district wrong when they say you don't make as much with just a high school diploma and no degree from college.

Well, now that I've finished dickering with the video footage that kept writing wrong, time to recount my adventures, or at least summarize things. I had considered starting another journal, but decided against it because, well, what would be the point. Most of it would have been composed of the more ridiculous arguments between by grandmother and everyone else, complaints about the always-raining weather, the accommodations, the monotony, and running out of things to read, the prices and suchlike. Lots of photos though. Very few are of me, and very few of those are any good. Vacations should never last more than a week...breaks from routine are a nice touch, but they themselves must never become routine, else there's no point.
My sleeping habits are going to be shot...not only is the regular time shift a problem, but also the irregular hours of getting up (tomorrow I must be up at six). A week sitting in one place and now so much travel: cottage to Bergen today, tomorrow off on a train and boat and bus to Flam, then to Oslo. From Oslo we visit Stockholm for a day but then come back. On the one side, it's nice not to have to make things work out by my lonesome. On the other, it's infuriating to see how poorly it is all done. No rest for the wicked, though I recall you dislike me saying that. I cannot wait to return. Grandmother has begun to insist upon some ludicrous scheme to scam money from the Russian government. Everyone is against it, but that's never stopped her. It's often funny how sad it all is. I'll stop rambling now. Good night, sunshine.

Back from the island cottage. How did your pseudo-rave go? I've got some stories of my own adventures to tell, but not right this minute because I must be going. We're back at the hotel with the free internet, but are leaving in the morning for Oslo, and then Stockholm for a day.
