A freshman college student that likes comics. Pretty much all types. I draw a little as well, but I'm not really considering it for a career. I'm pretty laid-back as long as people aren't crass or plain disrespectful of other people's opinions. I'm planning on being a history major. That's about it.Ok well that's not true. I write as well, mostly thinks inspired by my dreams (which either make no sense or are some sort of Lovecraftian nightmare) and my art. I sculpt as well and even though I decided not to go into art as a career, I plan to at least continue to do that. I went to an arts high school so I do have some experience with art. I'm not a master at it or anything though. I also like to work with fibers as well, mostly weaving and sewing/embroidery. Most of my art is either somewhat...I guess you could call it a sort of grunge style but that really just means I'm messy and work around it. Or it has really strong design elements to it. A good bit of that is inspired by Bioshock and Art Deco design.
A warning to the wise. Some of my art could technically be considered 'guro' (a good 80% of my characters have some sort of physical scaring/deformity and at least a couple are missing limbs). However while I will show blood and the aftermath of such things, very rarely will I have the actual attack/event shown out right. Also at half of them aren't human. Yes I know I'm weird/sick/awesome and in general a little unsettling. As long as you don't insult me about it I'm cool.
And despite the avatar I'm also a girl. However, I consider myself transgendered and so I chose an avatar more in line with how I view myself. If you, for some strange reason, are bothered by this then good for you. I'm not.
Also apparently I view myself as a mad scientist......ok then. Somehow this actually makes sense. Whatever
