That old man no one knows. that old man might as well have no name. He sits there thinking every one should take the blame...For his deeds he has no shame. every thing was fine until he came.
I hated the old man like no one should, and I sought out to do what no one would.
I took my dog, I took my gloves and I left out into the fog.
It was only a walk to clear my head, when I saw him in the window in his bed.
motionless and weak with age, he could only watch me like a bird in a cage.
slowly I came creeping nearer, he could see me in his mirror.
my dog was hungry, not fed in days, I dropped the leash.
with dread filled eyes I could hear the cries...as the old man clung to his cane, he beat the dog that felt no pain.
The days that fallowed I missed my dog, but the bench where the old man sat was empty for the birds and the fog.
What they say.
