Tears of Iron
O how i despise these things. These curses that are heavily smote upon my back. These wings...these wings of death and and chaos...these wings of solid iron. They have tormented me all my life. All this time i have sought to remove them. I have walked the path of shadow and of light , neither could release me from this torment only i can bear.
I have walked the path of shadow. Through the very gates of oblivion i have been, yet still this torment i bear...Oblivion is its name. The souls of lost are drawn to its intoxicating grasp...Through the gate i walked...I searched far and wide through the realm of oblivion yet nothing could be found away this pain.. Back to the gate I walked...As i walked back through the gate from which none exit, I caught sight of a beautiful woman clothed in light. Her hair was blazing like the sun...her eyes soft pools in the moons reflective gaze, her wings were of soft white feathers, she gave off a light that warmed the soul. Her beauty was beyond that of any mere mortal. The light around her brought light to this dark place. The shadows let out a fierce wail and retreated to the edge of the light. The light fell upon me and she vanishes along with the brilliance of the light. The shadows rushed to reclaim their lands, shrieking and clambering around in the darkness the greedily sought. I decided to leave and go somewhere i could at least find a temporary peace.
I have walked the path of light. To the very gates of the heavens i have been. I walked down the golden streets of heaven and drank of the cool waters. I have seen the end of the heavens, this walk of pain...here in this place i find peace and torment.
