Caesar Paper

In 100 BC, Julius Caesar is born into a noble family with patrician roots.
Caesar becomes staff of military legate. He got his first wife in 85 BC; then divorced her to marry Cornelia at age 18, to have his only child, Julia. In 72 BC, he was elected as military tribune, which for each win in war, people back at Rome loved him more and more. In 49 BC, tired from war, Caesar took his army to cross the Rubicon River. Which in turn caused a civil war against Pompey. In 47 BC Julius’ slogan became “veni, veni, vici” ( I came, I saw, I overcame). March 15, 44 BC, Brutus (Caesar’s friend) and the senate kills Caesar.

7. A bunch of kids’ crash land on a deserted island. They choose Ralph to be their leader, soon everyone but a few stay with Ralph. The others form their own tribe. This other tribe starts to become savages and hunt pigs for food and pleasure. At the end of the book they kill off Ralph’s friends and try to kill him.
Ralph-seems to be in good shape. He is sober minded, fair haired and cares. He puts forth the effort to be rescued. 8. Ralph-wants to be rescued.
Piggy-feels the same as Ralph. He wants to be rescued.
Piggy- is fat, smart, and is loyal to Ralph.
Jack is skinny. Jack wants to be in control with the glory.
Jack is only interested in having fun and he’s stubborn.
He does not care about rescue. Jack just wants to hunt and have fun.
9. Loyalty- Being true and honest to your friends.
Betrayal- Opposing someone who was on the same side you are on.
10. I liked the book. It was entertaining, surprising, and suspenseful. This story showed me the importance of having and obeying laws.
