A Bit About the Girl Behind the Pixels

Hey everyone, what's up? The name's Harmonic Rhapsody, or Chii, or Blu or any assortment of names that come from all of the cosplays I do. How's your day been? =D

First thing to know about me? I'm your typical, derp-loving, all-around fun time dork. I've been cosplaying for a few years now and really try to devote myself to the trade. I'm not quite good at sewing yet, but me and my cosplay partner are working our way there and having a blast doing it. Currently in my arsenal is Mello from Death Note, Waka from Okami, the BLU Spy from Team Fortress 2, the BLU Sniper from the same game and a closet Pyramid Head that I wore for Halloween two years ago. My next big endeavor is tackling France from Axis Power Hetalia and then right after that, his 18th Century outfit. (So pretty~ *_*) I'd like to think I'm pretty well rounded when it comes to what I like. So far I only stay within the Florida con circuit, so if you happen to be heading to a Florida con in the near future, feel free to send me a message! Especially if you're cosplaying from the same series. =D

Some of my favorite shows/games/styles can be seen around my profile. And hey, don't give me that look. I know APH isn't exactly a favorite of the older generation but I gave it a try and found the entire thing hysterical. If you can avoid scary fangirls, you'll be just fine. ^^ My favorite video games of all time are Okami, Shadow of the Colossus and Ico, in that order. I'm also a big fan of the Jak series and Silent Hill 2. Oh, and Team Fortress 2 of course. But that's in the PC league, so I'll let it stand alone.

I'm also a roleplayer/writer by nature. I love spinning stories and I love building my characters up. If you're ever interested in doing a little RPing, feel free to send me a message or invite me! College can eat my life a lot of the time, but I'll do my best to try and keep active.

With that said, the rest of what I could put here is just tedious and boring. So if you want to have a chat, go ahead and send me a message or a comment. I love meeting new people~!

I've said these things too many times to count. I've done it in more ways and you're probably sick of all of it but I don't care. Because you're my best friend, without fail. I don't know if you realize all that you've done for me. You know this life of ours, this crazy blend of cosplaying and staying up too late talking about nothing? It's all because of you. I wouldn't have ever made it to my first con, never would have considered cosplaying without you. And I would have never met the Metronites, I would have never torn away from the people that so liked to hold me down without you. So thank you. Thank you for all of your taste and advice and honesty. Thank you for being my guiding hand and light and I hope that I can sometimes be the same for you. <3

Ciarra, I miss you hun. I miss you like Floridians miss the sun. XD But I've seen how you've grown, how you've developed and how happy you are and I honestly couldn't ask for something more beautiful. We haven't lost touch yet and I haven't lost hope. It's been some time, yes, but we'll see each other again. And I'll have hugs and stories and all of the love I can gather waiting for you. My dear friend. Connie~! Darlin' I'm not sure if I should start writing this cause I feel like it'll drag forever. It's been ages since I met someone so vibrant and full of life. Someone so strong that they pulled themselves out of the dark and stand on the top of a mountain, in starlight, and just grin. I want to be able to keep talking to you, to keep the little trio we formed with Halle in a nice, solid ring. (BTT boys, just sayin'.) I can't wait to see you again..

Kim, you've developed like mad. It's mind-boggling for someone as slow to mature as I am. But I loved watching you bloom like a flower on a high speed camera. You're still fun, but it's taken on that light of adulthood, that bouncy child who took the hand of her parent and just smiled. I can't wait to see where you go. I'm jealous of everything you've ever accomplished and you're going to outshine the moon one day. And I hope I'm there, catching some of the light coming off of ya. ;]

Oh Kyle. I know you feel like we've grown apart, like we've changed in some special way and we can never go back. And if that's true, so be it. But I will never abandon you as a friend, no matter what anyone says or tries to do. You're worth more then someone's angry words to me. You're trying. I know you are. But you've got all of the skill you need, individuality. And it will take you far beyond the far-flung galaxies in your imagination. I'm sure of it.
