My name is Vincent Valentine. I used to be a Turk working for Shin-Ra. One day I was assigned on a mission to protect doctor Lucrecia Cresent. Lucrecia and Hojo to scientists working on the Jenova project. Vincent began to develop feelings for Lucrecia but for some reason she pushed his love away. What Vincent did not realize was the Lucrecia had previously worked for his father Girmore Valentine. And when he had sacrificed his own life to save lucrecia from an experiment gone wrong Lucrecia felt guilty for his death. As time pasted Lucrecia became pregnant with Hojo's and hers baby. When Hojo annouced the baby would become a experiement to the Jenova project Vincent protested. After a heated agurement Hojo shot Vincent. Then afterwards Hojo used Vincents body as a speciman for his experiments. Hojo placed the ability in Vincent to transform into horrific monsters and because his body was made so strong they were able to succesfully inplant him with the Chaos gene."The gate of tomorrow is not the light of heaven, but the darkness in the depths of the Earth."

With Chaos now running through his body he needed to be contolled, So Lucrecia created the Protomateria in order for Vincent to control it. Soon after Lucrecia had her child Sepiroth. When Sephiroth was born he was taken away from Lucrecia and she gave up on everything including Vincent. During the clean up of the Shin-Ra mansion Hojo locked Vincent up in a coffin hiding the key in a safe. Many years later Cloud and his gang came across Vincent. At first he was reluctent to go with them but after the mention of Hojo's name he decided to travel with them in hopes of getting his revenge

And so during his adventure with Cloud they came across a cavern behind a waterfall. In this cave Vincent found his long lost Lucrecia. When Vincent apporoached Lucrecia she explained that she could not die or live because of the Jenova inside her. When she asked if Sephiroth was dead Vincent lied and said yes so she could be at peace. Lucrecia then trapped her own body inside a crystal to contain Jenova. Cloud and the gang defeated Hojo and then went on to defeat Sephiroth.
"Escape from a world of illusions... Hmph... I wonder which is better."

~8 Years later~
Its been 8 years since metorfall. A group called the WRO has been formed by ex Shin-Ra excuitive Reeve. It is soon discovered that Shin-Ra has more secrets as from the depths of the old Shin-Ra building a evil group called deepground begins to appear capturing innocent people. Reeve calls Vincent asking for his assistance. As Vincent got deeper and deeper into this mission he learnt more about why Lucrecia had pushed him away and more about the Chaos that lived within him. Vincent found out that the deep ground leader was being controlled by none other than Hojo. Hojo had somehow placed his mind in a computer system allowing him to live within this being named Weiss

Soon Hojo's plan was unvealed. Using the the purfied souls from the innocent people he would bring forth the weapon omega. A weapon that only appears when the earth is in mortal danger. Because of all of the innocent souls being returned to the planet at once it will bring forth Omgea earlier than it should. Vincent defeated Hojo/Weiss and Hojo was torn from Weiss's body when Nero joined with Weiss. But it then became clear it was not all over. Omega came to life with Weiss inside controlling it. Vincent transformed into Chaos defeating Omega and Weiss. Now in peace Vincent lives together with Yuffie
