Thanks! I'm glad it seems to be true! Funnily enough I got a really great job offer today, I am subbing a class extended that I really like so far and they asked me to stay the year and I'm pretty stoked. smile I think this will lead to a nice year and a final big lump sum for being able to reorient while still financially comfortable. Overall its been a really good day! Hope it was for you too smile
That's what I hear, I'm hoping it goes well. It seems like the 30s tend to bring clarity to a lot of people who were somewhat lost in their 20s. I feel like I'm kinda in that group, I'm not a fan of my current career and I'm considering jumping into something else entirely
Ohh gotcha, I use mouse and keyboard but I've always been interested in what it would be like to use a tablet. I think of the art you could do digitally though, spriting/pixel art is most friendly to mouse and keyboard before. Although for a while I did use trackpad before having a mouse and that was... not fun sweatdrop
These are so cute! I love the variation in styles you were able to achieve too smile The Stardew Valley one especially! What program do you use for spriting?
Sure thing! I just finished a trainer sprite of myself after delaying on it for... years LOL. Main sprite Beach outfit
I'd love to see some of your pixel art too!
Yeah, I do spriting for a pokemon mod smile I was mostly working on some trainer sprites for friends which are my favorite things to do so it was fun! I was listening to Samurai Warriors and NSR alternating a bit while I did!
And I'm glad you've noticed too, I have felt it for a while but I didn't know if I was imagining it x) The newer songs definitely feel like more of a workout overall but the older songs feel like a test of technique. It's neat to do both when I play.
Oh yeah, here's a song from one of the packs I have that I absolutely love, it's one of my favorites! Chen no Gensokyo Ondo
The thing I really like about it is the (I think they're twelfth notes?) right after the quarter notes that make for a really fun hopping motion. Bridal Festival also has a similar thing going on! Not sure if these kind of steps have a name but do you have any favorite songs that have a lot of these as well?
Thanks for the recommendation smile I'll check it out now while I finish the night with some spriting! I just finished DDR and had a great time! Xenon was so tough, I feel like the older songs in general are a lot more technical than the newer ones which feel more stamina based overall. Have you felt the same way? V for extreme was really fun, too! I actually didn't have .59 or Ecstasy surprisingly, so now I'm gonna go try and fill in those gaps in my DDR packs
Have you heard of No Straight Roads? I feel like the music there is really enjoyable too!
