....but now that I've read more of the manga, I think Yamato can only do the Mokuton ninjutsu because he has Shodaime's cells in him, no thanks to Oro-sensei.... stare

To answer your question, I don;t think thats true. I think Shodaime and Yamato just happen to have an affinity for water and eath chakara. I'm sure if someone else had the same two affinities, they could do it too. But....thats just an assumption I made. Ah well.

cool, are him and yamato related somehow? I think they both use the same type of jutsu, and i though shodiame was sposed to be the only one who knew it...?
