I asked her about it once... and Flore replied it was like someone stole away everything and left her with but the highlights and shadows to interpret.

I think it was then I realized the exact toll the fever had taken on our world.

Pet peeves (mostly applying to writing): Pussified gay men, women who act strong until they have a man to cry to (and then they break down immediately), and being TOLD that someone is special.

I never get Writer's Block. Why? Because I don't spend my precious writing time whining. Instead, I cut out the parts I can't continue and start anew. Yes, I waste perfectly good prose. yes, I have three unfinished drafts of everything I write mouldering in a corner. And? If you can't finish something, all the pretty language in the world won't save your a**.
