Edmund Lucy Fentible, DoorBot extraordinaire. Formerly assigned to, and sole survivor of the unsurprisingly ill-fated and quite decidedly defunct luxury liner, Starship Titanic. Ship class:

Interstellar Etherliner. The most luxurious Galacticruiser ever built.
The majestic ship's interior, adorned in an eclectic style resembling a mixture of the Ritz, the Chrysler Building, Tutankhamen's tomb and Venice, leaves no doubt as to the finacial immensity of this ambitious undertaking.
Fentible's personality was purchased and scanned at enormous expense by Star-Struct Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Starlight Lines Corp., as part of an exclusive, new collection of service Bots with 'Genuine People Personalities' which were to function as the crew of the corporation's latest venture.
Amiable, charming and trustworthy, Fentible's personality was perfectly suited for the luxury liner's first point of contact. His manners are impeccable, his discretion unequalled.

Calm, cool and collected, he is more than capable in any situation that might present itself... except during the occasional bout of forgetfulness ... and a few unpredictable mood swings tinged with random, though usually well-founded, panic attacks.
Built by an advanced civilization which is unknown to Earth dwellers, and located at the heart of the Milky Way galaxy, its creators claim that the luxury liner is a technological marvel which "cannot possibly go wrong ... in theory."
Interestintgly, Fentible's stint on Starship Titanic ended abruptly after the ship's central intelligence core, having lost its mind one time too many, refused to abort a self-destruct command

with ... rather unfortunate results for the ship and those who were still aboard.
On Hammerday the 21st of Genneth, 131 RE, Fentible's personality was acquired from an anonymous intergalactic trader by Gaian eccentric, Vahrley, in exchange for 230g and a Kiki Kitty Plushie, and installed into a standard GaiaBot body. Fentible now serves as the caretaker of Vahrley's Hideaway, a 5-star bed and breakfast soon to open in Towns.
