Alphonse lived in Michigan for a few years, then his family moved to Alaska. He never really got good grades, but he never quite failed anything either. Until college, which he gave up on after a year. Upon returning home, his family was just... too Republican for him. Much more is explained in the manga. So Alphonse leaves immediately for California, where his only cousin Natalia [Nate] lives and runs her coffee/pastry shop, The Raven. He arrives there to find another roommate, Laremy, a french traveler who had nowhere else to go.Alfie's your typical otaku nerd boy. He's not good at saving up money, since he always goes to as many conventions as possible. Also quite skilled with a sewing machine due to his many cosplay costumes, he made worker uniforms for The Raven... including a maid outfit for Natalia, which she was not thrilled about because she's opposed to dresses.
He likes coffee, pocky, marble sodas, and Star Wars. A recovering World of Warcraft addict, he now spends his spare time with Laremy instead....
