I'm David. I'm currently 15 years old.

I made this account to possibly document my journey into polyglotism, as well as communicate with other speakers of target languages on a social networking system outside of the language-learning realm.

For those who don't know, a polyglot is one who speaks multiple languages (4 or more). I only speak one- English. I'm currently studying Spanish. I hope to be at least advanced if not fluent by the end of high school. If I manage to get far enough before I graduate, I will study/learn German. From there, I will study Latin and learn Japanese in college. After I graduate, I will learn French. Once I master French, I will be using it to learn the rest of my languages (with the possible exception of Korean, which I might possible use Japanese to learn).

The current list of Languages I want to learn are as follows:

The following are languages I will probably learn, but I don't know when yet:
Esperanto(probably right after French)
Russian
Egyptian Arabic
Persian(Farsi)
Mandarin
Korean
Swahili
Swedish
Danish
Norwegian
Italian
Hebrew (both modern and ancient)
Ancient Greek (I have no interest in modern Greek...)

The list above is tentative, and I probably won't learn all of those. I will at least study a bit of all.
