Better go check out VJ, pal. We've overhauled the look, improved the searching, made it so you can put up your playlists on other sites, and all kinds of other stuff. Let's delve into the awesomeness a little:



1: Gold! Glorious GOLD!





Watching playlists will now earn you a bit of Gaia Gold. Like with nearly everything else, it's on a daily 'curve,' so you'll earn a goodly chunk of Gold the first time you watch a video, then it'll gradually dwindle after that.



You'll also earn some Gold the first time you create a VJ playlist, so try it out! We won't give you Gold every time you create one, because we don't want people making a bunch of terrible playlists just for the dough. We'd prefer you to make terrible playlists on your own artistic terms, without the corrupting influence of money.



2: I'll bet you're sick of the word 'widget'!





We've created a little mini-VJ widget that you can embed in your MySpace page, your blog, your personal web page, or, if you have a good enough vet, your cat. Anyone who visits your page will be able to watch your playlist, chat and hang out-- and you'll earn Gold whenever they do.



To use this thing, just make a playlist, click the 'Share' link and then click the 'Embed' tab. You can also access this at any time from My Playlists by clicking 'Embed' link. You'll be given an HTML code that you can stick anywhere that allows embed codes.



3: Extensive betterment!





We've improved the living hell outta this thing. First of all, our YouTube integration is now way better: searches return much better results, you can search by YouTube username, and you can import videos directly from your YouTube favorites and playlists!



Secondly, you can now choose three different styles of décor for your viewing experience: the regular living room, a nightclub look or a classic drive-in theater that lets you pull up your car and



And thirdwise and finalmost: it looks better. We redesigned the page so it looks a little less like the control panel for a nuclear reactor. It should be a little easier on the eyes and a lot easier to use.
