Yellow is a nice color, no?

I salute you!
Hi, it's a beautiful Sunday afternoon as I am writing this and everything seems quite fair today.
Just finished homework & Cavy tending and all that's left to do is sew the tear on my dad's shirt.
This morning I had some delicious Putopao for breakfast, and I feel energized. I got school tomorrow which I hope will be as fine as today.
About me.
I'm Div Cherry. =D
I turned 14 this year and honestly, I feel so old. ^o^
Stuff I like:
-Rodent pets like rabbits, cavies and hamsters
-I think the sky is very pretty.
-I'd like to learn how to paint clouds someday
-Christmas biggrin
-I like the color yellow, if it isn't obvious already. >w<
-Video games (Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy ^__^)
-Anime (Kuroshitsuji and Fullmetal Alchemist!)
-I like making stuff with my hands
-I read books biggrin
-Dairy products and food that are white (I know, it's weird XD)
-Dogs. I looove dogs.
-Movies~! (especially kid movies like Pixar's or Dreamworks. My faves are Horton hears a who! and Ratatouille.)
Stuff I don't particularly like:
-Mean people. I mean, who likes them?
-Tomatoes and food that are red
-Onions, but I like onion soup and chips XD
-Animal cruelty
------------------------------------------
I like looking up at the sky and marveling at the clouds. I'd marvel at the stars, too, but the city lights are too bright. )=
Someday I'm gonna raise different kinds of rabbits, cavies, and maybe some gerbils too.
Chiaroscuro.
Chiaroscuro is defined as a huge contrast between light and dark.
It is the dark that makes light even more profound.
The light therefore is striking, while the darkness in the background gives a sense of balance and a subtle feeling.
Ha! XD I curse myself for thinking so deep.
I sound so cheezy. >w<
But hey, it's true.
I really do think that depression should never be a long term thing.
I guess I'm just the kind of person who is a bit optimistic.
Optimism is also bad, in a way.
If, for example,
you wake up, feeling groggy and hangover-ish from yesterday's activities. Such as maybe losing your job, failing a final exam.
Or grown-ups keep telling you Santa Claus is all made up (which is totally untrue--Santa is real!) and now you feel regretful and utterly miserable.
You switch on the TV hoping to forgot all the sadness and up comes a newly-employed talk show host yelling: "GOOOOOOD MORNING MARSEILLES!!"
Then you throw the TV out the window, screaming obscenities at it.
This isn't France, it's Manila. Marseilles is half way around the world. That brain-dead idiot.
Sometimes life feels like annoying talk show hosts.
But you just gotta remember that maybe that host lost his parents just a year ago. Or maybe that homeless man down the street was mugged of a dollar by some thugs. Or that cranky cashier was working to pay for college.
Sometimes you feel like your life is a total mess, but you gotta remember it can get even much worse. This is an advice or a total bummer depending on how you look at it. =)
Change your life.
Give that show host a bit of credit. You may hate the guy, but you can't deny he's witty, and sometimes he makes you laugh.
Buy an extra cheeseburger for lunch and share it with that homeless man.
Smile at the cashier and don't reprimand her for being so grumpy.
Change others and it'll pay you back.
Take those juicy lemons and make some lemonade, even if it ain't as sweet it will always come up yellow. ^^

Shoot for the moon!
even if you miss,
you'll land among the stars
