I think pretty much the entire east coast at this point is feeling it. My cousin in Florida got snow, and she said it's her kids' first time ever seeing snow fall from the sky. The oldest is 13! She's from NYC originally so the snow isn't new to her but this kind of cold and weather is a whole new experience for the kids! The worst part of this is that we still haven't had a single day above freezing so all the piles of snow we've had have hardened into ice by now. There's no getting rid of it without some serious muscle or straight up machinery, so we're screwed until we get warmer weather. It's been almost an entire month without above freezing weather. Absolutely nuts. I ended up ordering an insulated outdoor cat shelter because I'm that worried for the cats that come to my balcony. There were 5 this morning looking to be fed and we only had 3 boxes that we put out as shelters. The one I ordered should be big enough to fit two cats in there.
