Hi all! My name's Joan, and I hail from the longhorn-roundin', bareback-ridin' state of Texas. I have the accent, the "y'all"s, and the hat to prove it. However, I don't ride a horse, own a shotgun, or chew baccy.

A little about me? I'm a conservative republican, a Catholic and a pro-lifer. I'm a student of biology and an amatuer studier of theology (read Theology for Beginners with me, somebody!). I like to read, to write (no smut), to sing, to act, and to goof off when I'm doing my work. biggrin
