"I'm beginning to dislike role-playing. Too many immature kids involved in it these days. I remember when role-playing online was still very much new and adults were the driving force of its genesis. Now you see every brat out there, who happens to be self-esteem impaired, going on about how much stronger they are than everyone else. It's starting to get worse than every football team praying to 'God' for a win. You're basically asking for more than the 'other guy' when there's really no reason you should have any to begin with. Power, favor, talent, any of it. Power isn't free and talent only benefits you if you know how to use it. Otherwise, it's just the same as flying a shinier kite than everyone else. Sure it's shinier, but it doesn't make the kite glide any faster or higher nor does that make it do any neat tricks. Basically you're barking and begging for a useless something you can't even call an augmentation. It's just an empty annex, taking up space. Power only benefits those who know how to use it and when not to. Anybody who flaunts a power they don't really have or have any rights to is an ignorant cry-baby. You want power? Work hard in highschool, work hard in college, work hard at a job, work hard at home, and work out whenever you have the time. Money is power and might makes right. They are both means by which to influence others and influence, if not persuasion, is the greatest power of all. The easiest way to influence others is by knowing what to say and when to say it. Study foreign languages and perfect the one you currently speak. You can say something and influence someone else without even having anything to support what you said. That's why it's easy. You need more money to support the money you negotiate with. You need intelligence, speed, endurance, and yet more strength to support any might you may threaten. Words, however. . . words are THE easiest influence of all. You can be weak and threatening, you can be poor and intimidating, but it's what you say and do that determine who you are to yourself and those around you.
