Frank never disappoints.
I can only hope when you're having a good time amongst friend and such, your automatic reaction is to hoot. That would be fantastic.
Aha, my whimsical musical endeavour would be to learn the cello. When I go to uni, they have first year classes to pick up a new instrument, so I'm planning on taking an intro class for cello. :3
I actually wish I found more time to carve. Once my brother moves out, I'm hoping I will. He lives in our downstairs, and the workshop with all the tools to carve is downstairs, so he tends to get all pissy if I want to spend an extended period of time in there. Such is life though. I've actually just recently befriended a girl who is an amazing sculptor with clay. Like, the most abstract, eccentric art in the world. I love it.

Oh, and sorry about the huge delay in responding. I've been really sick the past few days. </3
Hope you've been well! :3

Ugh, Frank is such a devious bugger. :/
I enjoy math too, but I can't say for sure how much I would enjoy some of the math needed for any form of engineering course. But if a course makes you feel that way, I can just about guarantee you it's not a good choice for you, aha.

Dawh. You're such an old lady. Sad thing is, I'm sure we'd still have a hoot together if we ever hung out, so it can't be all that bad. Honestly, the harp would be cool to learn, but I wouldn't know where to start. Talk about an intimidating instrument.

Well, soapstone itself is an extremely soft rock, so you can use files and rasps to shape it, and then certain types of sandpaper to polish it. it's a large process when you start working on anything bigger then a pop can, but I enjoy it. My dad is a carpenter, and as a hobby he did a lot of wood and stone carving, so I picked it up from him. :3

Aha, I just bought a new laptop for school, so for once, I have a laptop that does what I want. It's lovely. :3
I am so jealous of you right now. You get adorable cats and I get ******** snow snakes. :/
Mechanical Engineering? Ugh, the math that must entail would be just a dream come true. D:
Yeah, pursuing so much at school will certainly add up in terms of cost, but the diversity of learning that's offered with it must be so interesting. I'd love to have the position to pursue various fields, but I don't think I could ever justify it, since I'm dedicated towards taking music as a career. Unless it benefits that cause, the financial, time, and emotional investment of pursuing another degree in uni would just be ridiculous. But all the power and respect to you for doing so. :3
Hmmm, that's a surprisingly hard question, aha. Well, performing music of course. Same with recording it. I'm a big movie fan. I enjoy having drinks with friends and such, or just being social in general. I like being active and getting outside when this vertiginous thing called life decides to give me some free time. What else...I'm getting back into soapstone carving. I also like reading and such. I'm a surprisingly social introvert, if such a thing exists, aha.

What about you? Studying snow snakes isn't an acceptable answer! D:

Baha, well now I'll make it a priority to listen to them.
Well, smarten up and send it to me. I wish I had a kitty so bad. I've never been very fond of dogs, always loved cats though. A very good family friend of ours though is extremely allergic to cats though, so we can't have one. </3

Yeah, suffice it to say that financially, university wouldn't be an option if i wasn't getting scholarships and such, aha. Microbiology? I'm impressed! What inspired pursuing biology? Are you done now that you have your bachelors, or are you continuing at uni?

I love Silversun Pickups! Never really listened to Iron and Wine, but I'll give them a listen. :3

Aha, I suppose abstract painting is a given when you use cutouts from counters as a canvas. That's awesome though. If you have some photos kicking around, I'd love to see. Sound like you do some pretty interesting pieces at the very least.

Oh, Canada certainly knows Minnesota for it's bad accents, cinematic masterpieces, and snow snake experts. Your research in the field has been extensively studied here in Canada. ;D

Actually, I'm afraid not. I'm doing an extra year of high school to bring my marks up for scholarships and such, and then next year I'm going to university. Most likely University of Toronto for a major in music, and a minor in english. And yourself?

Foster the People i've give a few listens to. Pumped up kicks is a good song, but I haven't heard too many of their other songs that really stuck. I love Lydia. Illuminate is a genius album. I'll definitely check out Cloud Cult and Radical Face though. Aha, well, I appreciate the effort. I always want new tunes to listen to.

Oh wow, now I want to see your paintings even more, aha. To work on a canvas of that size must take quite a bit of dedication. Any certain type of painting you tend to stick to?

Aha, don't worry. I'm sure if we sat down and both looked sheet music together, we'd both give up around the same time and instead decide to go play with snow snakes or eat something with maple syrup (provided we were in canada of course).

Oh my, Minnesota? I'm so sorry. It's well known in Canada that Minnesota is terrible for it's snow snakes. ;D

He has a gorgeous voice. And such an ear for good melodies. Got any bands/artists I should check out?

Aha, whenever I play that song live, I always hear either a comment about Andy Mckee, or August Rush. I like Andy, but I never really got into him. My favourite guitarist for that style is Tommy Emmanuel, You'll love him if you're an Andy Mckee fan. I'd love to see some of your art sometime. :3

I'm the exact same way. I'm garbage at reading sheet music (which is bad, since I plan on majoring in music for uni), so besides guitar tabs, I have to learn anything by ear and memorization. Piano included, aha.

Yes, I'm afraid I'm from the great white north. I'm sitting in my igloo with my pet beaver as we speak, eh. The snow snakes are terrible this time of year. Aha, where a bouts are you from?

Aha, so in other words, you have a very good taste in music. Anberlin is actually one of my favourite bands. Have you ever heard of Anchor & Braille? It's Stephen Christian's (Anberlin's singer) solo project. It's absolutely fantastic. It's like Copeland meets Damien Rice. You'd like it. :]

Actually, I have no clue if you heard it or not when you listened to my music, but I have a instrumental piece for the guitar that you might like if you enjoy classical guitar: http://www.facebook.com/markdoucettemusic
On the side bar their is a link called "Band Page". On it, their should be a player with some of my music. The song is called "Upon A Quiet Conscious. I don't find many people that look solo acoustic stuff, so I'd love to hear what you think!

Oh god, I love just about everything. If it sounds good, I'll listen to it. My favourite bands are Nine Inch Nails, Anberlin, The Dear Hunter (fantastic band, if you've never heard them), Anchor & Braille, Periphery, and plenty of others. I play guitar (acoustic and electric, if that's worth mentioning), piano, drums, and I sing, aha. What about you? Play any instruments or sing? :]
